I understand your feelings, a drop out of the prem could be disastrous! We could fall down the leagues and never come back up! We could drop below pompy! I would never want that again! To take the bet of staying indefinitely in the pl or win something, I am with you! This way we build a better club ( should do with guaranteed pl income every year). U can watch on telly and mix it up with the big boys, go to the pub and watch us in the pl is a clucking accomplishment that the lower clubs beg for. Oh and I don't get the feeling of not winning anything.......you mean it is just like it is now! I am still a fan! After so many relegation battles, getting mid table is very satisfactory! Being top for a day was very enjoyable! The drop to the lower leagues was fun because we came out of it and was save by ML, it could have easily saw us to cease to exist! That is not worth the risk of taking a cup and then disappearing forever. As a player I wanted to win, but I was also realistic, I wanted to make a good living, And to do that we needed to be in the PL. A cup win is great but it doesn't put food on the table. If we were to tumble down the FL, good players leave. So they have a trophy and a new club back in the prem, we have a broken club and cup to stare at with distant memories of the club we once were. Of course this is all hypothetical, is there a bet we can stay in pl and win a trophy? By the way, I don't brag about saints winning cup in the 70's. I say you let the worst defensive team ever to beat you. That shuts them up everyday. Use those 9-0 as a weapon!

It's is the FA ( feck all) and its band of corrupted refs that is continuing to ruin the game for the smaller clubs. We seen it for decades. They get the calls because the big clubs are the lifeline of the EPL brand and no ones wants to upset the spoiled leadership! Finally technology could not be ignored and goal line and VAR came in. It gave all of the world the chance to review the refs call and in the beginning it was making them look foolish! Lesser teams were winning because of the wrong decision being corrected by VAR. But over the years VAR has been marginalized and neutered to nothingness! the FA and Refs have gained controll again, we can see the VAR incident but it will still be up to the refs interpretation! Corruption was to powerful over fairness again! I wish one of our fans with video editing skills can put a compilation of poor decisions against us and the comparible offense of bigger clubs getting away with it, if it goes viral maybe the world will see the injustice. WARNING: conspiracy theory! Since the threat on Mike deans life by possible a saints fan (one of the 2 clubs mentioned), we have have horrendous ref call against us. Has the fa and refs association have a target on us? Threaten the refs and you will go down! I hope not, but some of these calls look deliberately malicious against us.

That is high boot all day long!!! Do we have city fans posing as saints fans! Are you a pompey? Anywhere else on the pitch with you foot six feet in the air challenging for a headed ball, that was headed will be called all day long! The ref cheated us, he is a criminal!, I see a player protect his face in a wall, and gets a pen from a ball hammered at him from 10 yards, no hand and would have smashed him the face, no way it was ever making it to the goal........yet it is given? Oh but our two should not be allowed , fk off! They will use the constantly changing rule to keep the big boys winning games! Our boys work hard to make those chances, cause opponents mistakes, to just be ignored by criminal refereeing is disgusting and disheartening.

Could we not get dick dean banned from our games. The bias was Soooooooo evident to shitty! Two great penalty shouts, weak cards against us, ignoring shitty dirty play. Playing the big boys is hard enough, but constantly having biased refs is just fking us everything. Can we harrras those cheating ref before the game during the game and after! Can we have the crowds and team go mental for any penalty shout?? Don't start play, surround the ref, get in his face for every pen shout, everyone! This referee cheating is criminal, treat them like so.......

I hope so they showed it a gazillion times, he shouldered KWP in the back outside the box, but then lunged for the ball and caught KWP, who was very happy to entangle the idiot challenge! Alot went on there in those split seconds, the ref knew it was a foul, VAR caught the lunge, good decision! Technology helped the ref, VAR confirmed that the lunge was in the box... shut up and take the VAR!...............meanwhile, back to my man JWP, and his disgusting penalty given against him, are we to assume he was trying to hold that ball like the statue of liberty 🗽, he is not that dumb! It was his motion, he uses his arm along to adjust and jostle, didn't, couldn't see the ball over his head, felt his liberty hand touch the ball and flinched it away like a school boy hand strapping! The ball harmlessly dropped to where it would have landed without the ball, and welbeck was on the wrong side of jwp to get the ball. So how did jWP stop a girl scoring opportunity? This wasn't a shot? Opposition did have control? Yet we are happy to give a goal for this and not KWP who has the ball running on goal and is taken out from behind? You lot are cracked!.........my suggestion to soft handball would to allow a free kick on the 18 yard line closest to the offense, no penalty but a good advantage to what is unavoidable whitg having arms and all.......what ya all think.......march on up Saints!

Ely was brought because he showed he had promise, he came during a terrible period of football, and didn't light up our disjointed team. So our incredible astute fans shat on him every chance they could, along with jwp, romeo, ings, readers, and later on Che , dejenepo, etc.....I have watched time and time again, big nob saints fans thinking they know better and that so many of our player were crap! And laughably they are usually wrong!! Again a player if our is doing much better, enjoying football and yet he isn't good enough for us? You are not good enough to judge! Or do you like looking like the ass after the players prove you wrong. Please give ely some slack, let's hope he can do it in the PL instead of condemning him. How is constantly putting down your own players conducive to a positive confident player. Can you see how quick judgment can make matters worse, our HOME form showed that us moaning and bitching just upset our players, we are gone from the stands, and now they can shine without our petulant insults and condemnation. Silence is golden.......and give the players a lot less stress!
