We out played them for quite a while in the first game of the season, and actually bought him some good will by capitulating towards the end. I'm glad we are not next up to buy him more time! Lets just hope they choose someone who is a equally bad fit. Funny little club.

I actually thought Martin Salisbury did well. There was a lot of play acting from Wolves, so he had quite a difficult task. And VAR seemingly interfering when it did can't be levelled at him. At least there's hope that semi competent refs are coming through.

Our beautiful 4-1 aside, there has been some utterly crap games this week. Turned off Whu - Norwich yesterday on the hour mark. Utd v's Villa was bad, the only talking point was the ref. Chelsea Spuds......crap. And tonights Sky darlings huffin n puffin and nothing else. Looking forward to Brighton tomorrow, has to be better.

There has been some outrageously wild shooting in the WHU - Norwich game. Both teams have been poor. I wouldn't begrudge Norwich getting something here, and putting Toon bottom......but I think that's gone now. 1-0

Their first choice keeper Raya has been out injured for three months. And he's still ranked as their second highest rated player in the opta stats for them. They should be very worried. I can see them getting sucked into a fight that they won't win.

I have to say, the last time we played the Swans was one of my favorite games of the last ten years. Worth every penny of what we paid Mark. Felt like a 90's escape game. Glad this fixture has allowed me to rekindle some of those memories. If you are going to be terminally shit, at least have a must win game right near the end! Cheers Sparky.
