When I watch him, I just feel the beedy envious eyes of Klopp and co. And it worries me shitless. If we are to have two years max, then I can live with that. But can the media refrain from selling him to everyone and their dog in the summer, just for once.

So Dean Smith has had the perfect scouting mission for this game. He went as far as to say he has a advantage. Ralph is armed with this information, so should he change our approach for this game? I'd say not. Start this with high energy tactics, on the front foot, same as the last few games & the pressure will firmly be on them to come up with an answer to it. My only real concern is we dominate and not take our chances. But, we've got to stick to our game plan. We are creating chances, we do look organised in defence, we've just got to maximise the energy levels once again. What would be bloody lovely, is having a two goal lead around the 60 min mark so we could make some changes, without handing out an incentive to Norwich. But, as a wise man once said. We got this.............

It benefits us more playing Che & Adam. Especially when we grind some pts and take the pressure off. If Broja muscles his way in, and forces those boys to lose big game time it sets up a few problems. Are they both good enough, will we give them a chance next season. Or are we sent looking for replacements. Broja's price will rise ruling us out of a move for him. (perhaps he's already unobtainable?) Stability. Continuity. Financial viability. We've seen how difficult it is to negotiate with even the midtable clubs in the Championship. We really don't want to be starting the search again this summer. So I'm all in on backing the Che & Adam success story. (I really like Broja, and I know he has a part to play, just in case that didn't come across)

Che waited patiently last year. Quietly worked hard and improved as he waited for his chance. And now Ings has gone he is Ralph's first pick up front. Once the easy chances start going in, then the debate will end. But I'm just happy we have capable players pushing the likes of Che on. It bodes well going forward.

We are going to have a strong bench! I love this concept of squad depth we have newly discovered.
-
There's a subtle Slough connection. Have you heard Broja talk, check it out.
-
I heard the only reason he misses training is to watch repeat episodes of the Office. Can't find a reliable source at the mo.

We might get a fair crack from Mason as my online abuse case isn't due in court till late next week! (lol joke obviously) But I hasten to add, if I was as incompetent as he, in any of the jobs I've ever had, I wouldn't just resign, I'd return my wages. This guy is stealing a living. And the fact he's still working tells me what the real problem is.
-
His high confidence will be a great asset to us over the coming games. I'm really looking forward to him kicking on. Just imagine his goal tally when these sitters start going in! Good times.
-
To be fair, before var was introduced I was pretty sure some refs were getting messages in their ear. Some very unnatural delays seemed to be frequent when undertaking decisions for a select few. Always made me wonder.
-
Could be worse. Shudder.
-
He's concerned his relevance will drop off quickly. This could well be his last crack at the PL. Its kinda the opposite of backing yourself. Obscurity awaits.
-
Didn't make enough contact. Didn't injure the opponent. The opponent didn't role on the ground writhing in agony until required coloured card produced. It's all so subjected. What was once just a ref, is now a few peoples opinion, and its so unpredictable. I still hate var, it has added such a tiny amount to the infractions, that I'd be happy if they pulled it overnight.

There's many reasons to dislike Spurs, but the Forecast deal real is net level shit. I can just imagine them all high fiving and popping corks as soon as the paperwork was signed. Someone on our staff was either on drugs or took a massive back hander. We gave up 25% sell on clause of Bale for that chump. WTF
-
Has this ever happened before? Being sacked, and then getting another job in time to face the same team? I think we might just have won another stat. Go Saints.
-
I bet the Palace fans are full of regret! 😁
-
That would be hilarious. But in all seriousness, I think he'd be a better fit for their long term. I do think they have made a big mistake sacking Farke though, I assumed they had someone 'great' lined up already. This is just a mess now, after their best performance of the season. Bizarre.

James got a fair bit of criticism for the red he received at Chelsea, so I thought it would be worth mentioning on his thread that he won a robust 50/50 in the Villa game to set up AA's goal. His competitive nature is a credit to his game. What's more important is competent referee's at this level. Don't ever change.

Absolutely incredible just how our youngsters are doing. Having a mate who's a big fan of Villa, I've had many a update on the investment they have put into the U23's and below over the last couple of years. They have spent some serious money. They do seem to have a actual plan. So after years of watching us pillage and regress our youth system, its an actual joy watching us add Small and the like to it and being rather bloody good. Well done the hierarchy, this might well be your saving grace.

The Liverpool fans seem more excited than the Villians! 😁
-
It's quite astonishing considering the second half against Everton.
-
The two 9's were extraordinary games. The red cards played a massive part. We still would have lost both, but the games wouldn't have been as disgustingly bad. I don't blame Ralph for the historic nature of those two games. But he does shoulder the blame for quite a lot of other defeats. The thing that has carried him through is, he does seem to learn from things.....................although sometimes frustratingly slowly. We wouldn't find someone better though, so lets pause that for a while yet.
-
I'll leave my prediction until I see who they put in charge. But I have to say, I feel sorry for Farke. The new guy might get them more organised, but he won't suddenly get 20% more effort.

You are fairly delusional though, it's hard to ignore. You dig me out every time. Not once have I called you out. Trawl through the posts and you'll see I'm right. I don't mind though. I've been round long enough to use the platform as something fun, something others haven't managed to do. And Wolves were awful, we didn't outplay them, they were totally inept. That game was dreadful. Pretend we lost one nil because we were unlucky if you wish, but we were so below par/substandard that day. Okay, it wasn't a red card v's Utd or Fox, but in my mind we were worse that day with how clueless we were from top to bottom of every decision. Has everyone blanked that performance out? Please, do a revisit the SOU-WW thread, read back the thread and post your thoughts.......I'm intrigued to hear opinions. I

Blimey, you got all that from a smiley? You seem to suffer from some form of paranoid delusion. I'd offer some advice, but I'm just random guy typing (3 times a day) on a football forum. Chill mate, it's really not as serious as you think it is.
