  1. But they have given us the max and can charge 'neutrals' £50+ for P4 Seats, if they gave us more 'away' tickets they could only charge £30. They'll sell them whatever.
  2. Let the begging for tickets begin.....
  3. He's gonna be eating a lot of sh*te then. Fingers crossed someone's sitting on a juicy story just waiting for the right moment to crucify the slimy ****.
  4. TBF, it's been all downhill for Monaco since they released him currently third from bottom of Ligue 1
  5. In a couple of days we'll all be saying "2 years ago 7,000 of us were in Milan". Where did that time go?
  6. Did they get this '27k' figure from the Police? They're usually the ones who put out the attendance as a few thousand under capacity when it's obvious to everyone inside the stadium that's clearly ridiculous. When it's happened before I've thought PC Plod must be a skate having the lols.
  7. Whatever happened to Ralp....Redslo?
  8. Bet they can't wait, we're playing Chelsea.
  9. You're right but, satire aside, it does reflect our current state quite accurately.
  10. Paul Allen-this, Paul Allen-that, pah, Rupes is now minted, buy-out/reverse-thingymajig imminent https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/

  12. I like it. There's nothing sweeter than grabbing victory when you least expect it. I'm just behind Steve Moran's left shoulder as he turns away to celebrate. That was as sweet as it gets. [video=youtube;j5-ZPTbRAGg]
  13. Yep, that's the way to come onto a football pitch.
  14. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVb3NfTf7P8 Most enjoyable Long/Puel moment at SFC.
  15. Are we really sure about this? I'm all for a bit of tradition but f**kinell, does it have to be sung with a Cornish accent too? #laughingstock
  16. You can't beat the club up over discounted away tickets at St Mary's, that's the choice of Virgin, but you can take a swipe at them for not rewarding loyal ST holders with the opportunity of an Early Bird renewal or even a better price than first time buyers. I applaud them for initiatives to encourage fans back but they need to up their game with longstanding supporters.
  17. But for the shear beauty of a team goal
  18. Without a shadow of doubt it was officially 9,000. That's not including all the forged tickets for the fratton end that got rumbled That was a special mad moment in 84 but there's just too many from when I started going regularly c: 1970 but more modern day stand-outs would be Le Tiss last league game at the Dell, Rasiak at Derby (Play-offs), De Ridder away at Reading (everyone just went mental - strange but true) among several others.
  19. This was the last time we got a minnow https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5--pXqwOSok Oh for another tiddler, we get Everton away, what a crock of sh*te
  20. Somebody was looking to sell a couple of adult tickets on the 'Saints Away' forum yesterday. https://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?60165-Palace-tickets-available#.W4faG-hKjIU
  21. Unfortunately I'm thinking the same. And there's also the added burden of coping with their famous Ultras
  22. I'd imagine there's a collective sigh seeing this asked again but there are rules (that most of us have to adhere to). For league games the hosting club must offer 10% of the capacity up to a maximum 3,000 for larger stadiums and which includes Block 43 at St Mary's (some clubs offer slightly more due to segregation issues, ie. us). For cup games it's 15%. We rarely have cause these days to make Block 43 available to home fans as displayed when the visitors chose to take a lower allocation and it becomes possible. We're gradually hemorrhaging support these days rather than growing it.
  23. Newcastle said it wouldn't be safe to relocate away fans so the PL said something like 'oh, OK then, you don't have to'. The Geordies are seen as one of the big clubs so rules are different.
  24. That wouldn't solve it, as of this season, a % of the away allocation must include pitchside seating. Unless you're Newcastle United.
  25. You make some excellent points, however it would have to be a Virgin decision alone on the tickets, they probably see it as a way of keeping all other club fans onside with their products. I'd ditch Sky/Virgin/whoever if they sponsored certain teams. Unfortunately our fan demographic is one of mostly polite passive types (strangely not really reflective of the city of Southampton's population), if we had more partisan support there would be more pressure on the board not to just bend over and take it from the Police about where we put away fans. There are solutions but would cost the equivalent of a couple of players wages of a few months to implement.
