  1. Exactly, if they did that then I think that fans would be a lot more understanding, not necessarily less frustrated if they disagreed with the referee's call but they would still at least have some explanation.
  2. I'm not even sure its the refs fearing anyone - they are just completely ill equipped to do their job properly - yet they bumble along making completely shocking decisions every single week without fear of any repercussions as the FA wouldn't dare drop Webb from Premier League games. As I've said before, if a player or manager performed as consistently badly as some of these referees they would be sacked.
  3. Liverpool get conned by Webb - he is also one of the worst. Supposedly the top ref in the country but has been a laughing stock ever since that farce of a WC final in 2010. If he is the best we have then we are in a completely embarrassing state.
  4. Puts his hand up to block the cross after the ball is kicked. Clear penalty.
  5. The standard of refs gets worse and worse every season. It's a complete joke and an embarrassment to the game. Such a shame as there is a lot of good in the game, but even the best teams are let down by a very very poor set of officials. It needs to be sorted.
  6. Clattenberg is an embarrassment to his profession. What is more embarrassing is that he gets to carry on making these appalling calls week after week after week. If a manager performed like him he'd be sacked and a player who performed as badly would be transferred. In fact, any individual who consistently made major mistakes like he does would no longer be employed. How does he manage to get away with it and how are the FA comfortable with these incompetent fools ruining our game?
  7. Conned out of a point by the worst referee in the Premier League - I'm literally furious he didn't give that penalty. Played well and absolutely no way Everton deserved to win that.
  8. Stonewall pen. Thanks Clatts you absolute dickhead.
  9. Gaston booked for giving his shirt to a disabled fan. Stay classy Clatts.
  10. You sir, clearly have no appreciation of a good footballer. He hasn't been the player we hoped he would be I agree but he certainly hasn't been awful in all games he has played.
  11. If you are going to accuse him of being awful at least get your facts right. He scored 2 in 2. He hasn't been awful, that goal against Man City was a strike that nobody else in the squad is capable of.
  12. This is a given.
  13. I just don't see it with Barkley. He runs forward about 15 yards and then gives the ball away... He is, IMO, massively overhyped.
  14. You are, as usual, clearly on a wind up. They have barely had the ball in our box for it to be more than 1! Sometimes I wonder if I'm watching the same game as some of the 'experts' on here.
  15. Everton really do not deserve their lead.
  16. Another poor call by that woeful Lino...
  17. There have been some dreadful offside calls this Xmas. Time for the FA to get them in for extra training.
  18. Dreadful offside decision there.
  19. That goal was down to Shaw. Poor positioning.
  20. He is the worst keeper we've had since I've been supporting Saints. He can't catch, he can't even block, has weak wrists, awful positioning and never makes a save. I would honestly rather we still had Bart and he was dreadful. Not even a League Two keeper. Is Gazzaniga Argentinian for Forecast?
  21. Jos Hooiveld has to go. Three major errors in two games. MP has serious questions to answer. Where the **** is Fonte?
  22. When you consider who we've played and the circumstances in which we have played some of them I would completely disagree... The last two games have yielded excellent results.
  23. 4-4-2 seems sensible and so does giving Jose and Adam a bit of a rest. We got battered playing our usual formation last season so maybe MP thinks this will help combat it. If either Fonte or Lallana have a slight knock then its a sensible idea. Still, a strong enough team to give Newcastle a good game - they aren't any great shakes without Cabaye.
  24. He has scored from open play, against Fulham.
  25. All things considered, that really isn't a bad team.
