Do you know what I really like after a good goal? A replay from a low quality, shaky camera from the perspective of someone who's view is partially blocked by various players.

Can squeeze and extra ad in.

A very Russ ball start to the game.

Quite impressed with Congo. Gave it a real go and arguably deserved more. Think England would be tested by their directness.

Why not us?

Exactly. The end of last season is the closest we could ever get to that situation. Annoying as it is/was, suggest people buckle down and just enjoy the ride!

Assume Gibbo will be pleading for Boro to be promoted instead of Hull due to potential financial breaches. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/czde31803e9o

Didn't watch it. But how anyone can possibly still pick Ronaldo over Messi in the "GOAT" debate is ridiculous. Guarantee in the Portugal game tonight Ronaldo will spur numerous chances (assuming he plays) by selfishly attempting to win the game single handedly.

They should swap ends after each hydration break, IMO.

Under the way VAR is currently set up, he's right. It did it's job, but the ref is a fucktard and made the wrong decision. Again. In instances like that, which are blatantly obvious to 99.999% of people, they should just overturn the decision. There are 3 qualified people in the VAR room to make that decision. There's no need for the palava of making the ref awkwardly run to look at the screen.

Sweetening the deal having taken AFCON away from them? Probably not linked in any way, bit well, football and corruption isn't exactly unheard of.

Oh not given. WTF.

Why did that take so long. It was the most obvious penalty I've ever seen.

Pitch seems pretty poor quality for a World Cup. Also not convinced it's been mown to strict Fifa standards with the lines. Stonewall penalty.

I always assumed @Turkish was a bloke. Can't argue with the sentiment though, I suppose.

It's literally bugger all to do with the BBC.

The Starmer Years - Can The New Broom Sweep Clean?

Wait, you're telling me a random bar chart taken from Twitter with zero context isn't irrefutable evidence? -
No. They were called Turkey for about 54 years of your life. They changed their name in 2022. It's nothing to do with the BBC. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-61671913

Better than Lee Dixon at least. Yes, Cape Verde put up a plucky performance, but Dixon saying Spain don't deserve a point is just weird.

Bit crude, Sue.

Sweepstake on the first news outlet to report that Japanese fans cleared up after themselves after the game?
