  1. He should be playing on the left when Pelle is in the team. Pelle thrives on crosses and has a looked at his best when Bertrand and Tadic have got good crosses in from the left side, when the ball is curling away from the keeper and towards the oncoming striker. It's madness we aren't playing to his strengths IMO. if Ron doesn't want to play that way then play Long up front instead It's fine playing the likes of Bale and Robben on the wrong side because they are brilliant at cutting inside at pace and shooting but there aren't many players good enough to do that.
  2. Do people not feel the same about Cameron?
  3. Having met him a couple of times my experience was the complete opposite. A nicer bloke you couldn't wish to meet
  4. I just don't understand people that think we should have a first choice 11. The balance of your midfield should be different playing away at Chelsea compared to at home against Burnley. That's just common sense and is part of the reason for having big squads.
  5. I agree. Davis is a great player to have for games against the big boys, but at home against Burnley i'd like to see Djuricic come in
  6. We've battered them but not taken the chances, which will probably cost us. Long and Mane have linked up brilliantly
  7. Years and years ago they were the best, but they've been spoilt and are now typical 'sing when you're winning' types
  8. "This has ruined Tim's big day". He's won 2 derbies in the space of a few days, got a Wembley FA cup semi final to look forward to, got a bit of confidence back in the team that might turn their season around and keep them up. But no, his day has been ruined by a few ****ed up fans starting a pitch invasion 1 minute early. I don't know how he'll cope with the trauma of it all
  9. Regardless of league table standings and European qualification etc, Spurs are able to pay considerably better wages than us and are therefore a more popular club to join for players. It really is that simple. Everything else is irrelevant
  10. Not in the slightest. You're spot on
  11. Elia and Pelle are just passengers at the moment. Otherwise despite the rubbish written on here it's been ok. We've tried to play at a high tempo but 2 of our 4 front players are just woefully out of form and our shooting is just awful. I actually quite like Djuricic, he's much more of a threat than Davis or Ward-Prowse at least

    Keep calm

I do wonder why we spent 12 million on Long and then decided to convert him into some sort of wide player. He's a centre forward, the best spell of his career at West Brom was when he played as a lone forward, but we haven't really given him a go there. It's unfortunate for Koeman that we have forwards on the books that he hasn't been able to use for one reason or another but it's surely time to start utilising the options that he does have
  13. Couldn't agree more
  14. He isn't welcome at St Mary's and never will be. Great to hear that reaction when he was subbed, nothing less than that rat deserves. He hid for most of the game, lots of one touch lay offs without actually trying to to do anything. Compare him to Coutinho who was their best player by a mile I thought and 25 million looks far too much to have paid for him. Lovren was probably their worst player as well, constantly ball watching and out of position with pretty awful distribution. 45 million for the pair was great business
  15. An abysmal refereeing performance, one of the worst I've seen in a long time. I think my patience has run out with both Davis and Ward Prowse now. Davis doesn't have the courage to play the ball forwards and WP offers absolutely nothing at present. Pelle could also do with a rest as he's woefully out of form. Djuricic had some good moments and looks a much better option to play as the number 10
  16. Their away support is almost as bad as the home support now. Embarrassing
  17. The fact the rat feels the need to do interviews with the Daily mail and with Adam Blackmore to get his side out tells you everything you need to know about his mindset. He knows he acted like a complete c***, and hopefully tomorrow we can win and Vic can smash him for good measure
  18. I don't get this either. Lallana's presence will ensure a better atmosphere than normal
  19. Quoted directly from BBC. And it shouldn't surprise anyone, as we all saw the real 'Adz' when he did that daily echo message
  20. "If I do get the jeers and the boos I'm just going to take it as them missing me playing down there" What an ego. What a ****
  21. This. It will be cliched ******** that nobody will believe, and the fact that they've got Adam Blackmore (a big defender of his last summer) to do it tells you all you need to know. Doubt a single serious question about his behaviour was put to him
  22. No club is paying that for him this summer after 12 months out with a potential career ending injury and only 12 months left on his contract. I'd be surprised if any club bids more than 10 million for him this summer
  23. That's not the concern really. At least we'd get some sort of fee then. It's unlikely he will hit top form this season and that makes it very unlikely a club will be in for him this summer. But he won't sign a new deal by the looks of it so we are facing the very real possibility he will go on a free in 2016 on the back of a full season scoring goals
  24. Good to hear he could be back this season. We're in a horrible position regarding his contract
