Because he does like to draw generalisations for the sake of stirring. I was pointing out that not everyone who is crying foul here was demanding a statement in the first place. I respect you giving him the benefit of the doubt (and others who would do the same), yet he said in his own statements that he recognises the board will need to earn the trust of some fans who have seen the damage to our playing side over the past few weeks. I am firmly on that side of the fence, it is time for words to become unnecessary and actions to speak loudest.

He has been very consistent across all three interviews. Repeated statements of the 'Koeman Revolution' and on how he lacks an Ego. Truly hope this isn't the hot air he has previously put out.

Because it is a public forum, and despite it not being something I personally demanded I am still going to air my own perspective in this public environment because it is clearly relevant to the team I, you and the vast majority of the other forum users all support! I gave him the benefit of the doubt in his initial statements and so far they have proven to be hot air. Does my feeling achieve anything? No, neither does yours... or any individual forum member. Do I want him to follow up his statements as described... of course. Don't get snippy just because our opinions differ, this is a forum.

How about those of us who never demanded a statement and don't believe him?
-
I personally do not believe him. He made a bold statement then almost instantly contradicted it before firing back in with the initial point. He is right in one thing right though, trusting the new set up will be difficult until they take positive action. His words are meaningless until those actions come to fruition.

Well, it wasn't clear. He was keen to say that things change over time.... before coming back in and explicitly saying that Jay and Morgan will not be going. He's not convincing at all.

They are not for sale... There is always a tipping point. F*cking b*ll****ter.

I don't believe him.

Durham isn't on. It's Gough and Rushden.

A friend has just text me, to say club will be sold in next 6 months.

Who will want to buy a club facing relegation? -
Why should they?
-
It's hard to stay positive when I cannot see how the team is strong enough to survive next season. Particularly if Jay and Morgan also go.
-
There is a degree of sense behind that theory.

Many other nations play in the Champions League but do not feature the same levels of domination by a select group of 4/5. Only two dominant clubs in Spain, 1 in Germany. It's the Premier League itself that's the issue.

Ugh. This one is the most sickening.

I went one size up. Very odd having loose shoulders and tight waist.
-
Yes, it is.

No, i'm looking forward to going to my first game since moving back to the area. Whatever happens and regardless of league i'm going to enjoy the act of watching my team play and supporting those in our colours.

Southampton supporters need a reality check, says Kevin Davies

Can't disagree with him. -
Yes, let's get rid of the one thing that gives us a competitive advantage over other similarly sized clubs.

Wasn't our first bid for Wanyama also described in similar terms?

Yes you can... http://www.amazon.co.uk/OnePlus-Screen-Android-Smartphone-Quad/dp/B00L5L952W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1405851085&sr=8-1&keywords=oneplus

Sorry, but what realistically should our expectations be? Champions League football? That is quite hysterical.

There were a couple of signings from Premier League sides when we were outside of the top flight. Ricardo Fuller, Bradley Wright-Phillips, Viafara, Jason Euell,... But yes, we have never in recent times poached a first team player from a premier league rival. It's tended to be the other way around. Hopefully Ron Vlaar could be the first to buck that trend, it would show a very significant statement of our placing in the perceived pecking order if we could start to do that.

On the flip side, I felt the kit last year was utterly dull, the monotone badge looked very cheap and was completely unrepresentative of our club's identity. Delighted to see the back of it and pleased to see us back in the colours which preceeded even the club's badge as our very identity. No denying that there will be people who liked the change. In every poll ever done on the subject it has been a minority view though, not wishing to denigrate your opinion but the figures do not lie.
