  1. Schneiderlin and Lovren would be a better fit for them surely. Although I hope they are told where to crawl back to should any approach be made.
  2. Heard similar on Thursday.
  3. One word. Resources. Lowe could talk the talk but not walk the walk. Our academy players are backed up by tens of millions of pounds worth of talent, under Rupert we would never have purchased that kind of spine (Remembering Malbranque and Saha after the cup final.) His vision of the academy being a sales tool to give the club income was entirely self limiting.
  4. True, but not to having to resort to assault to achieve it....
  5. Looked arguably better defensively then Clyne today. Assured performance.
  6. franks cousin, bravo.
  7. Animal works for me!
  8. You buy players like that for their class. He has it in spades and is beginning to show it. Outstanding.
  9. All things are relative.
  10. Hope his passing cements the peace he eventually built rather then provoke its downfall.
  11. Alas no. Just the same **** yelled by the same few over and over and over.
  12. Oh Alpine. I didn't mean you specifically even though I do find you a bit too depressive beyond reason at times. But sure.... feel to take offence. A case in point that this place is becoming too fractious. Stronger moderation is required.
  13. A contrary opinion is fine. A sustained repeated droning campaign not so much. I'm really tiring of this place, and the reason is that a few posters are typing the same ****e over and over again on threads that have little to do with their desired point. It's turning a discussion forum into a homogeneous mass of utter crap.
  14. Positives? Well we are genuinely competing with all teams we play against. Put in a better clinical edge both going forward and in our decision making at the back/midfield and we will be even better still. Had we lost the last three games meekly I would be worried, instead there were points available that we didn't get due to being our own worst enemy.
  15. Who would have thought that could happen in football........!!! I agree with your sentiments Hamilton.
  16. Came up a little short against the top two in their own back yards and had a bad day at Norwich, otherwise looking extremely competitive. We are starting to feel a bit of an injury pinch now but that was always going to happen. Yes, I would have taken that in a heartbeat back in August. These are halcyon days and the mid-term future looks even better.
  17. Taking it as having begun this summer and that it was used for Osvaldo it is worst only 33% percent ineffective. Wanyama and Lovren have been contributing, you have already written off Osvaldo. It is clear that the team management and many fans have not.
  18. You assume they would use a system once and then not again?
  19. Osvaldo was signed after Lovren, therefore the same system on that basis was used for both. How does it 'say it all?'
  20. Bad analogy.... Consider that both sold more in one weekend the same amount that the Wii U sold in a year..... jesus!! It looks as though both Xbox One and the PS4 have got off to excellent starts admittedly with the PS4 ahead and based on the launch price that can hardly be a surprise.
  21. Hopefully as reasonable as Jos was last weekend.
  22. Journalist: So, Martin, what attracted you to Portsmouth? MJ: Well, my good friend Avram told me about zhe local entertainment......
  23. Game over. 3-1 The better team has prevailed.
  24. Yes, credit must be given to Chelsea. They had to reshuffle to cope with us. That is also to our credit.
  25. Eerie similarities with our performance at the bridge in 2004.
