2-1. Jay to score first. 42/1. No better time to play Spurs, just hope our team are fired up.

Just need a few novelty bits, main bulk of shopping is done. Presents to be wrapped over soccer Saturday this afternoon.

Wonderful news. Congratulations mate!!
-
Still four hours out of what should be a day with the family!
-
No, don't fancy a 4 hour round-trip on xmas day, cheers all the same.

The pass completion stats, looking at this it appears as though we are bang average in that respect. http://www.whoscored.com/Regions/252/Tournaments/2/Seasons/3853/Stages/7794/TeamStatistics/England-Premier-League-2013-2014 This does ignore the number of attempted passes, etc but in isolation we do not appear to be anything special.

How Southampton's unsung hero is emerging as their key man
Colinjb replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
They clearly havn't gone, just thanks to a pressing style he isn't going to get as much space in a forward position as he did before therefore restricting his efforts to headers from crosses and supporting the more unpredictable forwards we have. He is still the best hold up player we have which testifies to his ability, movement and strength. Naturally if we have teams under the cosh half the time they will mark the living daylights out of him, they're not stupid. -
How Southampton's unsung hero is emerging as their key man
Colinjb replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Pacey, energetic and willing to single handedly have a go. He is becoming better all the time and one of the few attackers we have who can be a little unpredictable. (Ossie is the other, but he doesn't have Jay's work ethic... Although I believe Ossie has a little more flair in his locker.) -
I have no problem with the principle, but it's just going to be the case of using this method for the first time and building confidence in it. There is something quite reassuring about holding a specific ticket in your hand.
-
That would drive me nuts too, no confidence in these things!
-
Wish we had taken the last round a bit more seriously. Palace beat us a few years ago then defeated Man Utd, Sunderland beat Chelsea.... It must be a great omen to get Saints in the final 16.
-
Sunderland struggle to sell out at the best of times. So I would expect a little of the two.
-
Who are the only Premier League club to see Cup Final tickets go on General Sale in the last 5 years? (No, Wigan.....)
-
Following on the heels of Mido, Benni McCarthy and Robbie Keane. They are at least consistent.

BBC: Nicola Cortese at heart of Southampton's success story
Colinjb replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
When the very first sentence of the article itself reads; Then no, can't share your cynicism. -
As everyone got a point, then it's all kinda meaningless really. Just keeps the gaps the same but on a higher number. I would take that as a -1 point for Pap. So his total is.... -1. Also, i've miss-counted! Smirking, through what appears to be a completely unbiased and un-tampered voting process.... you have 7 points and a clear bronze medal. I shall be content with 4th. And Turkish is the LVP.... Barry Sanchez must be seething.
-
There is a separate poster called Bazza. So the Sanchez gets 12, on par with the registered votes for Turkish.
-
That's nothing like the DVD I keep behind the sock drawer, is it?
-
Oooo, someone hates me! MVP: 1st, Tokyo Saint - 14 2nd, Bearsy - 13 3rd, Smirking_Saint - 7 4th, Colinjb - 5 (Good effort Smirking, I doff my cap to thee) LVP: 1st, Turkish - 13 2nd, Barry Sanchez - 12 3rd, Ludwig - 7 4th, Bearsy - 6
-
Seems legit.
-
Ermm..... At least reveal the LVP. Should be good for a laugh!
-
Had at least one in each of those Bear.
-
Surely not that obvious? No? Don't tell me it did a Game of Thrones and maxed out in the penultimate episode of the series!
-
#orders another drink#

Fair enough. Either way, that was quite enjoyable.. good work Bear.
