But don't you see, he is uniting the club. Every day his opposition is getting more and more apathetic/annoyed/dissillusioned. Soon they will simply wash their hands of the club and walk away, like many fans are already doing. Then, one day. When all opposition has walked away, and Rupert Lowe looks out of the window onto the pitch, where 6,000 fans watch the Blue Square Premier Clash with Rushden and Diamonds he will have united the club. He will have united it in his own image and can start building.

Well, when his opposition walk out when votes are to be made on club matters of course he is!

Conspiracy theory time! Could the board members that outvoted Crouch on financial decisions have been swayed in their decisions at all, say by a certain former chairman who still retained substantial shares? Make the accounts of the club untenable, blame it on the well intentioned yet emotional guy at the top, and bring back in a man who is famed for his 'prudent' financial behaviour to sort it out. All seems a bit convenient to me.

No. Can blame them though. Lowe isn't the problem, he is just symptomatic, the lack of any alternative or serious opposition is.

The AGM was in other words a complete folly. No votes where cast by people who dissagreed with the CEO as they all left in anger. As far as Lowe is concerned he will be unifying the club because he is pushing away those who dissagree with him... cleansing the club of enemies. Good god preserve us the ecentric is winning.

Dealt with the NHS a while ago. They where looking for an aerosol product that could shield battery terminal points in wheelchairs against corrosion from, well.... incontinence. Had a product that would have saved about 10 batteries worth 30 pounds each a year. The product to save them cost 34 pounds and would last 3 years. Because the cost saving wouldn't have been soaked up by the facility that refits them,m as such would have added 12 pounds a year to their budget the purchase was vetoed. Utterly f*cking stupid. A 34 pounds outlay would have saved the public sector £866 pounds. Excluding labour and admin.
