My 50th (predictictive text by pass) Year following The Saints too ..... seems World Cup 66 and Saints 1st ever season in The Top Tier brought out The Glory Hunters in abundance When you live 2750 miles East of Milan, the last thing you expect to do is head further East, but that's what I'll be doing tomorrow morning! Dubai to Muscat, 2 hour transit and then Muscat to Milan, arrive 1920. Malpensa Express into Milan, local change somewhere(!) to Porta Venezie to the same hotel as Haloless and 2 other @dubaisaints ... then hit town!! Doorstep to doorstep about 14 hours I reckon, but for 7 of those I shall be availing of free booze on Oman Air. Oh and I'm travelling straight after a sleepless Nightshift - what could possibly go wrong

From U23 game team included Hesketh, Reed and Valery, so assume that they won't be involved on Sunday. Olomola wasn't but I guess he normally plays at a younger level? Are J Rod against old club or Boufal in contention with Long looking likely to miss out? Anybodys guess as to the team / squad!

That is an absolute disgrace Do the doss khunts not realise that the person who wasn't available to be at home on the morning of delivery, is just as likely not to be available on any other morning between 0900 and 1300 to collect either? How on earth can a working day end at 1300? Customer Service -

This is getting all a little bit like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1RGwaCUjm0 -
I had similar thoughts. Such a shame that so few of the clubs have really embraced Franny's brilliant efforts, to such a worthy cause, which as you say affects each and every one of us. I am in absolute awe of his efforts, and don't mind admitting that I am virtually in tears as I watch each days videos and interviews with him, and witness the obvious discomfort he is putting himself through and think how much it would mean to him if a rep from each club was there to meet him at each stadium and handed over a cheque, no matter how large or small.

Let us know what their Plan B is Sue!! Looks like I'll be screwed as I've just flown back to Dubai and my wife was going to send the ticket from Leigh back down to Eastleigh to a mate to bring out, but he travels to Milan 1st thing Tuesday. I sent an email this morning but haven't had a reply. -
He's visiting Man U Man C Everton and Liverpool later this week, will any of our defectors be making an appearance? Maybe Morgan will have some spare time as he seems to be doing bugger all else!! Unfortunately I'm tied up with last minute stuff for my son's wedding this weekend. Good luck Franny, donation to follow shortly.

My ticket arrived today. Hope they send out The Inter Tickets out in plenty of time with fans heading off a fre days ahead of the game. Up to 8700 is a lot to sort out!!

Rules for one, different rules for others. Long taken out against Sunderland - gets booked for simulation Sturridge barely gets a tap and tumbles over in front of The Kop - penalty of course!! In both situations the player was obviously looking for a penalty, invites the the challenge and go down easily yet two contrasting outcomes!!

Top Prem Goal Scorer - Antonio Top Prem Assist - Dimitri Payet WHU 18th Position and GD -6 after 5 games
-
Every time I've seen him on U23 etc games, he always looks good and constantly looking for an attacking pass or to shoot from the edge of the box, and was the same last night. Sign him up and utilise him!!
-
One thing for sure is we can't go given cheap free kicks away any where in shooting range for Payet. Hope we continue their New Ground agony. Is that Man Bunned Pussy injured or playing. Him and Niggly Whinging Noble are amongst my most hated players in The Prem. It's a given that Antonio will score against us, so we need to be scoring a few ourselves. Get an early goal, get the natives moody and they'll just about do our job for us COYS

I emailed the club and they say it will be at least a couple of weeks, but if I haven't received the tickets a week before they can make alternative arrangements (ie collect in Milan)

Not expecting my flights from Dubai to Muscat and Muscat to Milan to be full of Saints Fans ... but free booze on both of the flights will make up for it -
Fair do's to him though. Through his Community Hours Fine didn't he start up a charity and continued doing charitable work long after his Community Service had been completed? Also didn't he slap a mouthy skate in a restuarant in Manchester whilst at Everton on England duty? This of course was an admirable and understandable act, so in no way a bad thing to do

Wow there's just too much info on there for me to take in, but it does seem that Redmond had a lot of the ball, but virtually all of his passes whilst in possession were across the field or backwards, barely anything going into the danger area, and we know where his shots ended up! He is not an out and out striker, and in my mind we are not getting the best use out of him. I like him as a player, and think it was a good bit of business bringing him in, but Prem League games are not the place to be experimenting when you have better options in attack and better positions for him to play in.
-
The Fox in the Box instinct that Natural Born Goal Scorers have, knowing when to hold back and when to make the move. Timing is as important as pace in the box. I personally think Redmond would be better off cutting in from wide positions, with maybe Tadic in the hole behind Austin/Long where his eye for a pass could be of more use than passes down the wing.

Two homes games shouldn't be too much for a fit footballer FFS. If it had been away to some way back beyond place in Eastern Europe and then Mboro away I could understand it, but come on 2 home games is no different to any other midweek Wed / Sat League match routine and you wouldn't expect wholesale changes for that.

How about someone like me who isn't a Season Ticket Holder (only back in UK for short periods) but has 3 away games last season, as on my trips back the away games were more accessible than home games travelling from Lancs!! -
I'm not trying to undermine anything - just expressing my opinion, and sorry if it doesn't match yours, but his attitude to the club in general has been poor considering he is Team Captain and focal point of the side. He is constantly posting about Portugal, but absolutely nothing except that one terse clarification of the situation, regarding his full time employers SFC. A simple 'Great to be back with the lads and fans again' wouldn't have gone amiss. I hope that his demeanour is better on the training ground and changing room on Match Days. For what it's worth, I was pretty gutted when the rumours started and he made no attempt to quash them. I'm glad he is staying, as he is an integral part of the set up both on and off the pitch .. so long as his head isn't elsewhere.
-
Pretty much how I see the situation .... still being with us wasn't his number 1 choice. Even his 1 message, seems pretty much saying how professional he's going to be whilst staying with us, rather than I'm so pleased to be here!! Pretty poor form from The Team Captain in my mind!! Hope he's good to his word and that we don't have to go through the whole process again in January.
