For me it was a shame that Bury or Rochdale didn't make it to the play off finals, as I'll be in Lancashire for the first few weeks of the season I've been to Oldham twice and just the once to Tranmere :cool: still having therapy for that one Leeds,Huddersfield and Carlisle are do-able as long it isn't a mid weeker, but I guess all the Cup games will be regional and down south. Pity we won't be playing Derby next season as The Brunswick is right up there in the top away pub line up, especially if you are into Real Ale. I think they had 14 different ales last time (several brewed in the pub), not to mention their own micro brewery lagers as well. :smt030:drinkers:. Very convenient if you travel by train as it is enroute from station to ground (and back ) if you are able to walk/stagger. Go easy on The Black Sabbath at 6.8% though!! If you can't make up your mind which beer you want, ask for a sample, reckon I had nearly a pint in freebies that way . Mop it up with some great food in the upstairs bar. Very friendly staff, and locals too. Really quirky design, tiny front entrance on the end of a terrace but is shaped like a slice of pie and widens out as you go further in and has loads of little snug bars. Having said that though, it isn't a huge pub so if you're not really into good beer stay away (so that the rest of us can get in ) Stu your pub ratings should also have a star rating for the totty/barmaids/dancers in places visited. Fitties or fatties, spitters or swallowers, screamers or smilers etc .

Well folks, Hi from a scorchio Dubai 42c for the last match fred of the sorry season. I've decided to make a tactical change from my usual cans of bitter, and am drinking chilled margheritas and having Taco's, Fajita's, guacomole, refried beans :cool:, and tortilla breads for tea .... without any side dishes of swine flu hopefully Lets hope will be able to resume these freds for our new (and hopefully successful) adventure in League 1 Will Cope was a little bit cagey as to whether there would be live commentaries next year on The Saint, if so does that mean local stations will be able to broadcast?
