It was more likely his performances tailed off because he was 16/17 and was playing 90 mins every week and was shattered as others have said, we relied very heavily on his input to games!

Which other three Saints players are you saying are underperforming? I would presume you would have said, Lallana, Lambert and Fonte, as they are our three other 'best' players (imo) but Lambert aside, I would not say they are all underperforming? Or do you have other players in mind? Agree though that those would all be disappointed to still be in League One, but they can rectify that easy enough by winning us promotion!

If someone smashes a bottle round someones head or face, it will likely smash. If someone therefore repeatedly smashes someone round the head/face with a bottle, its gonna be broken glass and will cut someone to shreds. If someone was doing this in some alcohol fuelled rage then some serious damage would be done as there is no doubt the bottle would smash. So how on earth could that actually happen, and then the assailant just walk away with police bail? I don't hear of the guy who was attached being hugely scarred or needing masses of stitches or anything, so the reports on here sound like rubbish to me. But still, that's par for the course on here, idol (sp) gossip without the facts.
