  1. well thanks for actually reading the post and not all the other **** thats attached to it yet again we were very very poor all posession yet no end product once again pelle offered nothing up front no movement just gestures and long playing as a winger really?...deepth of our squad is very bare and lacking quality i thought that with ron in charge we would at least be shooting and yet again no end product i think we had 3 on target in 90 mins bloody terrible for all the seasons training that goes on not just the week leading upto the match but throughout the season our shooting is at best crap and non existance oh well rant over but mark my thoughts if we dont look for better for next season we will be in a dog fight forget europa league if we get that then i fear we will be fooked.
  2. There still might be something to salvage by the end of the second half but i cant help but wonder are we going to get better than this toothless performance or are reaching the level of performance that will accompany us next season......what a struggle it will be,our recent run of form combined with a few key injuries sees us in a false league position ,i fear that next season we would have swapped our position for say a west brom season what a contrast! oh well lets hope im wrong fingers crossed and all that.If you look at our recent run of games our run in should have been on paper easier than most confident top 10 teams able to see the season out without too many issues but sadly southampton seem to have reverted back to the ways of old and making catastrophic errors in the wrong areas of the pitch this is not halftime knee jerk over reacting but reality were in the wrong league position due to the fantastic start but very poor out of form finish.
  3. his value has also risen now worth more than before thats what supply and demand does
  4. Roger when you posted this it was 4.14 not 20.15 just well you know....
  5. but to be fair weve also lost our goalkeeper which in the run in seems to be a bad situation so i wouldnt say we have the easiest of run ins of course on paper it looks like that but whod have thought leicester to score 3 away at spuds and not get anything so yes on paper ok but its not about paper.
  6. yeah we do seem to lack shooting power from midfielders thought Ron might have sorted this obviously not yet.
  7. listening and getting frustrated at the commentator on sky ,they are just willing us to fail by using old cliche phrases and yes we should be winning these games as Arsenal would have done or Spurs or even Liverpool i think they are readying themselfs for oh unlucky but they fell short in the end scenario ...... frustrating game but hey ho thats watching the Saints for you.
  8. Well we failed against Palace in the cup and with the same team thereabouts for the forseable future i think were all jumping the gun a bit and assuming were invincible right now and were not ,we lack squad deepth at the moment and that could be curtains if we have a few more already key players injured (i hope not) in the next few matches. Were not guaranteed 3 points every time we play so lets all just calm down and enjoy the present and not the future.
  9. quality mate quality just like the panic buy shane long why would we want him.
  10. What?
  11. I was just having a thought, and it is probably a bit early to discuss. did it hurt?
  12. also 1st is better than 2nd duh!!! really some people.
  13. You know your right in a way i was thinking we would be lucky to get a point at Newcastle given our injury issues to key players and yes i suppose winning was a bonus ,but more than that is the expectation or being able to cope with the heady heights of being there or thereabouts on the cusp of something no one would ever dream possible but always hoping for. I think it would be absolutely amazing given our circumstances at the beginning of the campaign to even hope we would be in this position, now we are and the so called expert pundits are eating humble pie theres always the thought of us tripping up against so called minor teams given our lofty place IE Palace ,Hull,Leicester you get what i mean those that we would normally do battle for beating us these games in a way are more different now were in a different position so again what you were saying it adds more pressure to the team. But id rather the season was like this than normal.
  14. terry paine springs to mind
  15. well said do they take a cut in wages for being tired?

    Mane

a bit like the Spuds fans saying when a certain Gareth Bale used to play they never seemed to win (what ever happened to him) maybe he needs time im not saying hes another Bale but give him time
  17. but id rather have the 3 you talk about rather than the other 5.........
  18. my mate Hope says hes never heard of Bob......
  19. makes you wonder what the England goalkeeping coach does with him in training to be honest a big fella like him should be barking orders and being dominant about the area like Shilton used to be .
  20. yep couldnt agree more Everton will rip us a new one hope not but more likely i think we have reached the point in the season that pundits thought we would have had all season to be honest so i think we need to get to 40points as soon as rather than get caught up in a scrap.

    Mane

members on here are going a bit mad at poor old Manes recent dip in form along with one or two others i have to say ,including Shane Long what a fantastic example of a club panic buying to fill squad places up and brilliant money business buy the selling club who must have rubbed their hands together after the door was shut. How hes made a living in the games for so long at this high level well good luck to the lad our mugs were seen off .............maybe 6-9 million asking but 12 million and hes utter garbish and wont be around after 2 seasons you see total rubbish .
  22. my next door neighbours sister goes out with Seager(fact).
  23. so your not enthralled by either mane or mayuka then i think they can both be better players given time to develope ....gaston is to lightweight easily knocked off the ball at crucial passages in play and i dont think we miss him at the moment to be perfectly frank. btw i used to live in basingstoke in baird avenue any relevance to where you might be. Used to climb over the garages to get into the camrose in the early 60s loads of fun spent all the money to grt in on playing cards and swapping them great days.......i digress mayuka and mane wont be here for the african nations nor wanyama so fringe players will get the go ahead im certain.
  24. you might want to check that its a genuine ticket before going all the way up there only not to be let in.
