Thanks. Also about to leave. Should be a great day. COYR (or should that be COYB)
-
Anyone know what colours we are wearing today?
-
Liquid lunch at Hole in the Wall Waterloo, usually a good few saints get in there for London matches, then tube to the match (should take about 40 mins from Waterloo)
-
Waterloo and City line is closed this Saturday. Take the Bakerloo to Oxford Circus then Central Line to Leyton. http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/livetravelnews/realtime/by-date.aspx?offset=2

Great read. Don't necessarily agree with some of the rankings though I do with the top 4 - would be definitely be mine as well - Big Ron, Elvis Paine, Matt Le Tiss and Mick Channon - my all time hero. When is it going to Sir Mick? Long overdue.
-
Ron was a hero to me as a schoolboy and definitely lives up to the title of "legend" (too loosely used these days but not in this case). I really feel for the big man and Fitzhugh Fella's mail brought a tear to my eye.
-
He could do a lot worse ... Interesting read. Thanks guys.

Lambert for me. We have really missed that potency up front. Others excellent as well; esp Harding.
-
I think at the moment it must be Lambert. He is confident and puts them away well. Wooton doesnt play every game but I understand the case for him. Lallana is in great form but I'm not sure I would choose him for this role. I have always felt his shooting is one area I would like to see him develop, particularly shooting more powerfully. Again I accept he is playing wonderfully well at the moment though.
-
Just bought mine. Adds another three. Should be a good day out.
-
Thanks thats broadly how I understood it. I will have a look at the Dec 2014 option .. it is being sold as you can get your money out after 4 years. The risk of Rosebowlplc going bust seems remote but you never know .. would have probably said the same about SFC five years ago.
-
Anyone taken up the Rose Bowl debenture investment or any views on this? It seems ok and am thinking of investing. Am I missing something?

Charges for using your credit card in Europe
KK the 2nd replied to Thorpe-le-Saint's topic in The Lounge
. Amex is best. Used a Lloyds visa debit card recently and they charge a pound per transaction. Used going through the tolls on the French roads, some of the tolls were only €1.60 but added a quid!! No charge with Amex though. -
Thanks Rut. You have a better memory than I do and your description is spot on.
-
I'll lay you 2000000/1

Anyone remember "Mad Mo" in Totton in the '70's. Used to go round without a shirt on in the freezing weather. Tattoo on forehead. Often ****ed. Used to take about 6 old bill to take him away.
-
I think the brothers were Bob and Ian. Ian went on to be successful with William Hill bookmakers, made a packet through the float of WH and recently retired from their board.
-
One Lallana, Two Lallana, Three Lallana, Four ... Did it go something like that?
-
Anyone remember the Reuben Agboola chant .. Reuben Agboola do de do de do .. (to the "Jackie Wilson says" tune I think). Could work with Adam Lallana?
-
Hasn't really played for 2 years though. Let's hope he's still got it ..
-
Bringing Adams back then??

With all the furore over the incident at the end of Manc derby, I guess it could be described as a case of “the sh*t hitting the fan”
-
Only seen Hammond in the last match and have to say I was impressed. So if this a question of who would be the best outfield captain then I could go along with that. However I am a big fan of Kelvin and Curbs talks highly of him as captain therefore I would stay with KD as captain.
-
Clearly an open and shut case of the sh*t hitting the fan

It is good advice. Catch it early and it can be treated successfully. The simple physical examination is a little intrusive (!) but all over in a couple of seconds and the other test is a straightforward blood test. If you're 40+ do it now.
