I’d probably stick Forster back in and maybe swap Bednarek in for Stephens. Get Romeu in if fit. Hopefully we can get the front two on the pitch together for most of the game. Adams going off seemed the be the turning point unfortunately. We always fall to bits when he isn’t on the pitch as the ball keeps coming back and we never progress up the pitch. Need so much more from all of those contending to play in the “10” positions. None of them are playing well enough to play every week atm. Tella just seemed to want to run into their players in the second half. Really frustrating result, after a very promising first half. Thought it was odd not to start Adams and Ings together up front and then look to take them off if they’re not capable of 90 mins.

What a shame, the return of the fans to the ground, is being overshadowed by "fans" wanting to boo players who want racial equality. Anyway, would like to see Romeu on the bench, and Armstrong and JWP to continue. Bednarek on the bench too, the other 3 deserve to start again IMO.

Would certainly explain SKD's views on Adams, Theo, Walcott, Bertrand....etc.

He also suffered a bad injury a few years ago, which scuppered his development somewhat. N'Lundulu is also 22, Obafemi is still only 20. Personally think he's one worth persevering with for a few years yet if he can get his application right.

Think he looks absolutely quality bearing in mind his experience and age. Really excited about his future, would half expect him to be first choice next season, but will be difficult getting in the team ahead of Vestergaard assuming he's still here next season. And Ralph doesn't seem to like dropping Bednarek.

But according to people on here, Ralph is tactically inept?

Not sure it’s case of him not rating him, but clearly something isn’t right behind the scenes, especially given he wants out. Maybe the club aren’t willing to give him pitch time if he’s going in the summer anyway?

Surely it’s a combination of Smallbone / Armstrong. Diallo will have a seasons experience too, and Romeu back fit. Cant see us spending money when we don’t need to, when we have more pressing issues

It looked more like we switched Salisu to LB and put Stephens into Bednareks place. KWP just seemed to have more freedom to get up the pitch, so looked more like a slightly lopsided 4-2-2-2, rather than changing system to me.

He’s unreal. So clinical. Let’s just hope he signs the context, club seem very confident that what he wants hasn’t materialised…(guessing it’s a top 4 club - City Utd Chelsea Liverpool in my mind)

Another good performance tonight, he rarely has bad games, he’s just not a natural goalscorer. We’re a far better side when he is in the team.

Minamino is terrible: offers nothing at all. Would get him off at HT personally.

Really good half from Redmond apart from the decision to make the tackle, not sure why he was over there, but been dangerous going forward.

Think it’s highly likely, don’t we pay them less money if we play him too? Probably partly due to that. Cant imagine he’s playing because he’s the best option. He’s crap.
