Yeah, exactly how I see it. £5m or so over 2 years, is pretty logical for us, given a replacement will be £20m+ Inc wages over the same period. Clearly he’s also offering something else around the club that the club sees as a benefit too. No brainer.

I’d love to know what people are expecting from Adams…are we expecting him to be too English goalscorer ?! 20 goals a season ? I expect him to get a few goals, and contribute to the team which he does. Could his finishing be better? Yes? But his play in general is relentless and deserves credit. Not sure what people expect from a second striker of a club with no money.

No mention John, My guesstimate would be about 16k? 4k went to the Sheff Utd / City games, so would think you've got a 2/3 chance. Possibly 1,000 or so who aren't bothered or cant make it. Think you've got a decent chance

Was no mention, just that they're going to prioritise those that had tickets for West Ham, and those that have already been this season, go to the back of the queue. Mentioned they're expecting a larger takeup, as a lot of people took themselves out of the hat back at the end of last year, due to personal concerns, but a lot of those people have now had atleast 1 maybe 2 vaccines.

He's also still good enough to play a big part for us over the next few seasons. If we could bring in someone like Williams, then I'd be more than happy with those two fighting for that left back spot, and then rotating the KWP at RB.

Capable of playing in this league for a few more years yet, and I think he’s a good influence behind the scenes, but the club needs to be careful with offering large contracts to ageing players. I’m torn, but trust the club to get it right. Think it would be a shame to see him go. 2 year deal would be perfect.

In one of the other breakout rooms, it was mentioned to me a few things that haven’t been mentioned… Next years kit is “fantastic” and Hummel don’t run off templates and then stick a club badge on it. It’s been completely designed for Saints and there are plenty of little bits of it that go back to Southampton. Confirmed as stripes (no surprise there) Learnt a lot from 2 home games in December, hoping and expecting about 8,200 there for the Leeds game, same criteria as before, with those that have been go back to the back of the queue for tickets. Club is stupidly excited to have fans back.

If he gets 10 goals a season. Then I don’t think that’s a bad return, he’s not a “goalscorer” as such, but he offers way more than that. Appreciate the fact we do need a goalscorer, but with Ings I think that’s probably fine. We are a better side when he is in the team, and would be 1 of the first on the team sheet most weeks for me.

Got it right tonight. The Armstrong / JWP partnership in the middle seems to be our best bet at the moment. Managed it very well. Well done Ralph. Players are clearly with him, and I think the majority of the fans still are too?!

Very promising from him when he came on today. He’s a beast given his age, and will only improve. Reads the game so well for someone so young.

Another very impressive performance from Che tonight…worked imperiously and held the ball up.

Not sure there is a huge amount wrong with the team. Swap Stephens for Salisu, and Minamino for Djenepo for me, but can’t argue with much else. If Diallo was picked at CM, fans would be going mad that Armstrong was decent there. He’s not going to change the system. Fingers and toes well and truly crossed.

Pretty sure he managed millionaires that wanted to be motivated, Lemina has not been arsed through his whole career. SAF would get them out the door sharpish.
