  1. Despite us being pretty woeful for the last 3 months....could be any of the below... Armstrong JWP KWP Vestergaard
  2. Yup agree. He also seems to be quite an emotional player, he's excellent when he's confident and has self belief, but when he questions himself he goes massively into his shell. A few years ago, it seems someone put an arm around him, and he was the main man and he thrived. The last 12 months or so, he's struggled a bit with injuries, and not been the main man, it's almost that he struggles to be motivated. He's an odd one that's for sure, but I do believe we're a better side when Redmond is on the pitch and playing well.
  3. He also offers a lot in other aspects of being a striker, hold up, link play, pressing etc, he’s also not that old. Finishing needs some work. I like hit and think we’re a better team with him in it. Redmond too.
  4. Well Minamino does absolutely nothing to influence a game, and Walcott is injured. Tella was awful last week. Djenepo you could make an arguement for, but IMO not through the middle. Everyone is entitled to their opinion...
  5. I'm yet to see a manager not criticised for not having a plan B, City fans say the same about Guardiola, Spurs fans said the same about Pochettino etc... It's just one of the standard things football fans say.
  6. Absolutely dreading this game. Should win, but we are in terrible form, and they have players to hurt us. I think it will be very evenly matched, but I worry massively about our leaky defence coupled with our lack of goal threat. I would like us to keep the same system, and try and get a bit of confidence. Forster KWP Vestergaard Salisu Bertrand Armstrong JWP Diallo Djenepo Adams Redmond
  7. Well if we are in the market for a new manager, we know they'll be relatively cheap and out of work...
  8. Yeah. Immature thing to do given the circumstances and never going to make it at premier league level unfortunately.
  9. Elyounoussi is woeful, doesn’t have the fundamentals to be an effective Premier league player, he’ll never make it in this league.
  10. Forster; KWP Bednarek Vestergaard Bertrand; JWP Diallo; Armstrong Minamino; Adams Tella. need to be at it, defend well (lol) and take our chances when we get them (lol) Here’s hoping for another Pen!
  11. Which is correct....
  12. Looks like Stephens in DM to me...? Macca Bednarek Vestergaard Salisu Bertrand Armstrong Stephens JWP Moussa Adams Redmond
  13. If it's any other club, £60-100m, If it's Saints, £30m Look at Rice - valued at £100m by Moyes. We should be saying the same.
  14. Yup they’ve been very impressive this season. Were quietly going about their business at the start of the season despite a tough fixture list, and just keep winning the games they “should” win. The dildo brothers promised “next level” football when they moved to the Soulless Bowl, and it looks like they’ll get that. Would be a disappointment for them to not qualify for Europe now.
  15. Very odd game so far. Leeds could have had 3 or 4 already, West Ham look like they’re going to score from every set piece. Kalvin Phillips looks like a player just back from injury, very rusty
  16. Based on 2020 form, I'd want to see the club do whatever they can to keep him, and maybe even leave him to the end of next season to leave on a free. But given his form since that Villa away game, if we can get £30m for him, feels like we'd be silly not to take it with 1 year left.
  17. If City have any sense, they'll just go low and to Forsters right hand side. He's always struggled to save the ball there.
  18. I think that's what we are doing. Saved money on his wages for 2 years, and bring in £7m for him. Think Fulham also paid a £2m loan fee so it's more like £9m. Assuming his wages have been paid for the last 2 seasons, that's just over £7m at £70K a week. Also, his "book" value in the accounts will show as £4.5m so allows the club to recognise a profit on the sale of £2.5m. Not ideal by any means, but given the situation, it's not awful. Always laugh to myself when he has 1 of his 9/10 matches, as you know it's not going to be consistent. Surprised he's played that many games tbh
  19. Based on what? Tella, yes promising, but hasn’t really done anything in any games he’s played in. I hope he can offer something in behind today.
  20. Take Tella out for one of Walcott, Redmond, Djenepo or Adams and I’d agree with you.
  21. I’m expecting us to win despite our recent form. We’re playing the worst team in the league and they have a depleted squad. If we have Diallo and KWP, Ralph and the players have no excuses. The players have clearly not given up, because the work rate is there, but we need to make sure we don’t concede early. If we can get ahead, it’ll give the players a huge amount of confidence and I think we’ll grind out a win. COYS
  22. No, because if he was I don't think he'd be playing on the left. He's there to cut inside and shoot or run at defences on the edge of the box. Or tuck in and counter.
  23. We cant afford to keep Lemina / Elyounoussi. Id guess the majroity of their wages are being paid plus a loan fee. We can't afford to have someone like Lemina sat playing 2/3 games a season picking up £80K a week.

    Just the ethnic minority...
  25. In fairness, it's never a lack of effort from us. Even against Everton we were trying hard to make things happen. It just wasn't through various reasons.
