It looked more like we switched Salisu to LB and put Stephens into Bednareks place. KWP just seemed to have more freedom to get up the pitch, so looked more like a slightly lopsided 4-2-2-2, rather than changing system to me.

Happy with that team. Jankewitz has clearly burned his bridges or he’s off in the summer. Minamino an odd one for me, I’d have liked to have seen Tella instead of him, and ideally Salisu in, but the rest is fine. They’ve got a very attacked side out so should be a good game.

Club have mentioned it more than once. There to help through lack of income due to covid. The club is meant to be self sustainable, and using a £75m loan on transfers isn’t sustainable….club gets no money from the owner.

Absolutely irrelevant. None of that will be spent on players, it’s to cover the cost of Covid and to help cash flow. If the club don’t spend any of it and give it back in 5 years. Then I think they’ll be happy with that. It’s 100% there to not be spent on players.

Yeah, exactly how I see it. £5m or so over 2 years, is pretty logical for us, given a replacement will be £20m+ Inc wages over the same period. Clearly he’s also offering something else around the club that the club sees as a benefit too. No brainer.

Sounds like it's a done deal from press conference today. 2 year deal. Ralph praises his professionalism and impact off the pitch as well as on it. For the money he'd cost, I think it's a good deal for all involved.
