Many of you will dismiss this out of hand, as would have I a few years ago, but; I have seen too many errors of judgement from the police at football, to believe it is just incompetance. I now beleive that for whatever reason, in certain circumstances, they actively encourage trouble and create situations to make it happen. Whether that is to flush out trouble makers or get the arrest figures up, I have no idea.

The police really were ******* pathetic
-
Completely agree exit, a complete shambles from hampshires not so finest. The cub scouts could have controlled that better.

Part of the chamberlain deal

Mike, go and stand in the corner and face the wall please.

Many Moons ago on the old Saints forever, the dull old attendance argument came up and there were some hideous (Sub 10,000) attendances quoted from years gone by for the blue few.....corps argument (And no doubt he will deny it, but 100% true) was they were protesting and staying away because of Gregory Remember that corpy old boy :) :) But our stay away protests don't count :)

Bottom right hand corner...... she did get a little upset didn't she. The funny thing was the two lads that were next to her dishing out the slit throat actions, happened to be on our train on the way home.... They were from Southampton, but millwall fans. We took the kids with us and one got a bit upset by their gesturing. On the way home they came running back down the train, saying the same guys were on it. We didn't believe it until we got off and saw them, I took the kids over the bridge at the station, whilst a couple of lads "had a word with them" :) ......by the time they got over the bridge and out the main entrance their throat slitting had turned to profuse apologising.

I always remember playing Millwall on a cold winters night at The Dell. As it was so cold, they did what any normal football fan would do...... They started fires on the terraces

The ref was David Axcell. Considering I have a memory like a goldfish, that might give you some idea how bent he was. 8 minutes is irrelevant, it would have been 18, the game wasn't going to finish until arsenal scored...twice. The biggest wrong doing in my Saints supporting life.

Can we check goals scored..... in our first 4 games we have scored 13 goals.... have we ever done that before
-
Guly was never in my starting 11, but based on the fact he has been outstanding on the right, we've been winning everytime he comes off, i am not sure how you come up with that

LOL.... I was there and never thought it was anything else than the crossbar, but the ones slamming the OP, might want to be a little less adamant... he has a valid point. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14565065.stm

I would be pretty certain, Lallana is watched by premiership scouts most weeks
-
LOL...... you are right, I imagine every premiership manager has dropped their scouting system and football network, in favour of scouring football forums, to see what fans think of their own players. Ah well it was nice to have him whilst it lasted.
-
Whilst the stats did improve and almost certainly would again with the way Adkins has the team playing at the moment, butyou need to look at our win ratio when Lallana was out injured...... they are horrible and very scary...... And based on those, we would be bonkers to accept 17 million.

I think one of the things that people are forgetting with regard to his wages, was his signing on fee. I don't think his wages will be anything like 25k per week, but I (Pure guesswork) his personal signing on fee was somewhere between 1 and 2 million quid
-
This is a big year for Lallana. Whilst he was weaving his magic in league one, there was one public or confirmed show of interest from Wolves (I think 1.5 was the figure bandied around) and the papers reported that Everton and a couple of other clubs were also interested. When he signed a new contract, I expect he was exceptionally well rewarded. With the money in the prem, he was worth a 1.5 gamble. As he continues to perform (Excell) in the Championship that gamble / risk comes down and his price rockets up. His form will not have gone unoticed, by any of the prem boys (Including the big boys) and if he maintains his form (Consistency has always been one of his strengths) it won't be long before they come knocking, with fairly chunky money. If he can impact Premiership games, in the same way he has impacted League one and Championship games, then you are talking mega bucks and international caps

Couldn't agree more. Would be funny if it happened, there would be some serious apologies coming your way. Enjoy the season Jan

He was recommended to the skates...by Our Claus http://fansonline.net/portsmouth/article.php?id=1892

Thanks Scotty, but I don't even have to check it to know that is not right. Having spent 4 days solid and speaking to other parents, they are all the same give or take a couple of hundred quid. You will probably find she is a named driver on her parents policy (Wait until the crash and for them to refuse to pay based on her being the only driver), or is only insured for a certain amount of miles or betweem certain hours.

Do people really believe this tripe
