Hang in there rally boy - a couple of stocking fillers whilst we wait. Clotterill can't believe what they went through, last season, but he is all the stronger for it. ...... may be he should of bought a newspaper before he signed. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/great-matches/cotterill_pompey_soap_opera_will_make_me_better_boss_1_2685527 And some other sad news , clotterill had lined up three key players for next season. One of them was Norris, who now looks like he is off to Hull, the second one was oconnor, who has just been arrested for cocaine possesion .... I wonder who the third is.

Hope he stays, when fit, I think he is an excellent player

Big shoes to fill. I seem to remember a young Alan Shearer adopted it and then settled for the one arm up in the air celebration, but he defiantely had a few windmill moments.

I think we must assume that yesterday didn't happen. Even when it was just formality hearings, there has always been something on the news, but not so much as a tweet. That means, it has been delayed again. A nice tactic, but it can't last forever. There was some talk of all three of them being tried together, so arry would have been able to swing 'Not until the end of the season". The problem that creates is I can't see those crazy russians completing, until they know they won't be getting a points deduction, so one delay causes another delay...... Oh well it will save on the airfares if there is still only 8 of them going to the States.

So it begins. arry and mandick in court assuring the judge this was just a mistake. Storrie, not sure who to back or what to say, offers the judge a 5 year contract at 100k a week, based on his 25 years football experience. Don't commit to too much Peter, the blue few have just lost one of their fixtures in the US and can't find anyone to pay for the flights, they might just need you.....Oh and remember to tell the truth, the freedom of Southampton awaits you.

The odd woggle, couple of dib dib dibs and few badges ...and your there. Or contact Dave Puckett, tell him you want to do some scouting. You only get paid expenses for travelling and have to attend the odd meeting and actually go to watch youth or kids football and that's about it. You do get a % of transfer fees or signing on fees for any one you scout.

Absolutely

Did I miss something? I went through all the pictures and didn't see LC

Really gone down hill in the last 5 years.

I think we might see something like this next season, but not relating to actual tickets. More to do with food and drink. The ground itself then becomes cashless and you top up your card when you need it.

Shocking news and one more nail in the football coffin, if they win.

Given the history, Cortese's comments and continued investment in the Academy, Adkins appointment would have almost certainly been dependant on sharing the same goals with regard to bringing the kids through. It might hold us back a season (Or two) but I am sure we will see a regular presence in the first team squad from the youngsters.

This year will see the contestants fighting it out to win a £250,000 prize fund that will be invested into their own business. The winning contestant will be able to choose what type of business they wish to set up and will have the backing and mentoring of Lord Sugar, with each taking a 50/50 stake in the company. Think you are being a tad cynical there Hatch

Whilst some of the reasons given for why we are finishing later these days are quite correct. There is no doubt in my mind we seem to finish later or consistently later than most. There have been a few occassions where we are close to being the last score in.

while the still incumbent president of the Blues Balram Chainray has just managed to pay back all the club’s debts and to invest some £17 million in the team. The blue few think that this article suggests the deal is all done. I would point to the line above to highlight the quality of journalisim http://www.sports.ru/en/football/96192331.html

He gave up his job for that.... unbelieveable.

To be fair the birds on your wires haven't been very successfull in the last 5 years or so, but never mind that..... Talk me through " We've had our medicine" line. I'm intrigued that a club who found themselves in admin for the third time and would have been relegated regardless of the points deduction (Ergo no penalty) seem to think they have paid their dues..... not withstanding the charities, local businesses and the odd 130 million quid of course.

jackfrost is right, arr and mandric doesn't matter. Storries case does. I can't see a way they wouldn't get a points deduction if he is found guilty (Bournemouth, Tottenham, Luton, Watford) but that doesn't mean they will.

It does seem quite apt, doesn't it. Well from their forums, they haven't learnt a thing. Not even the slightest concern that the potential new buyer has been linked to the russion mafia, been alledged in money laundering and his company refused accreditation by the banking industry. They will reap what they SOW. However, even if these guys are serious, I can't see anything happening until; 1) Playoffs are decided - If Bournemouth do make it, even with smaller crowds, they have to be more appealing as at least they actually have 11 players (And they are buying a football club after all) and will be over 10 million pounds cheaper. 2) Court case is finished (Starts next week) - Will they still be intrested or does the price go down with a points deduction 3) They have physically got the money chanerai is after, which based on the two direct quotes that portsmouth are debt free and if abramovich sold tomorrow he would make millions, doesn't inspire me with confidence that that is actually the case.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/9481461.stm The accusations are far to detailed to be something that cropped up in conversation and without any evidence. If Triesman has real proof and Blatter's promise to act instantly, then technically the whole World cup bid would have to be re-done. I have to say I have been waiting for someone in our camp to come out and say they were offered bribes - Just didn't think it would be Triesman. If we can prove it beyond any doubt, they will have to go through the process again......surely??
