Its time to wheel out the mind games..... Which reminds me, when Fergie first bought this into football, Man Utd were 12 points behind Newcastle with 11 games to go..... They won the league. Step up Mr Adkins........

He has lost a load of weight.... super slimmed down version. But the arguments over his dress sense are irrelevant. He could be dressed by the worlds finest designers, in the worlds best materials, but whilst he still wears glasses that magnetically break at the bridge of the nose, on a chain, allowing him to pop them every so oftem, so that one half of glasses hangs down either side, I fear we will not see him in GQ or FHM in the near future.

3 .... one ,more to go

Over 50 years a Saint.... He will be guaranteed a front row seat in the biggest executive box RIP fella, I suspect you just ensured another 50 years at least of family support.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-12830964 Does this mean another career change hatch??

But not merchant facilities. Just think your little corner shop, or take away is allowed them...... pompey are not
-
Yes yes very good mackers. We''ll get someone in...I'm pretty confident of that.
-
No, nothing like those figures. I seem to remember one tranche costing 400k or thereabouts.

I would bet a pound to a penny Lawerence will be off at the end of this season. His wages are over a million a year and they would likely get 2 million for him Just to put that into context, 2 million represents reprents 2/3rds of all season ticket revenue. He's gone...... Might not have to move to far for his new club:lol:

So there merchants won't give them all the money upfront and will only drip feed it to them on a game by game basis (As per this season) I think I am right in saying that there are only two main merchants RBS and Streamline (I could be wrong) but that doesnt give them much negociating power. I don't think any of us will be surprised, but it does prove they really dont have any money. Where the squad for next season is coming from remains to be seen. As for the question; Q. In the event of the season ticket not being provided to the purchaser, will he or she still owe the full debt to Zebra? A. The club refused to answer this question I suspect that paper have phrased in a more sensational way than it was reported, but it does seem rather odd. You go to zebra, they give the money to the club, club send you out season ticket, you pay zebra over xx months. I can't see the room for anything sinister in that series of events, but there again this is pompey. Next season will be hilarious.

The club on a number of occassions bought shares in themselves. Fairly common practice in a lot of PLC's, but i guess the posters point was that didn't help the transfer kitty.

I bet we do. There is too much at stake, not to make what would be a realitively small investment.

Ive read this thread with interest as it funny to see how some people have moved on and others never will. I have to say that whilst I wasn't a lowe fan at the end (Fairly ferociously), the animosity seemed to wane the moment Markus turned up, coupled with events down the road and of course "time" itself allows you to look at things with a bit more perspective. My Son thought I was a hypocrite for talking to him (May be I am) but he was a genuinely nice bloke and I doubt those sad enough of us to post on here all of the time, would give up the opportunity of 25 minutes (He didn't have much choice he was boxed in ) with someone who has had such an impact on our recent history. Don't get me wrong, there is a certain arrogance about the man and he told a couple of porkies (That were factually incorrect) that I didn't pick him up on as he was in full swing, but I did push back on two things, one of which was quite funny; Me; You shouldn't have come back, Rupert; I had to, we were going bust Me; Rupert we did go bust Rupert; (Uncomfortable silence) err well yes we did. As Mike and Um Pahars said.... It's time to move on, he got some things right and others wrong. The irony for me is that his downfall ultimatley worked in our favour and whilst we are Div 1, I think all of us would agree we are very much on the up now. And you know what, regardless of whether the fans were right or not, His son must be a pretty commited fan to continue supporting the club, given the stick his Dad got.

Close benji, but not quite right. So the covers can't fall into the hole. It's one of those noddy American interview questions...but then it was an American company
-
Well for what its worth, I'd have gone with your answer..... Just goes to show its all subjective. Shietest question I was ever asked was "Why are man hole covers round" It was a phone interview, so i passed and carried on talking and hit google and came back to it. I'm sure he knew what I had done, but if I wasnt smart enough to answer it, then at least I had shown some initiative in getting it.

I am not sure how telling it would be if we didnt bring anybody in (And fully expect us to) given how imperative it is to the business plan to go up this season.
-
Well they were definately a group of three, but no idea who the third guy was, although he seemed very knowledgeable about Saints. I have no idea wat Morgans agent looks like... sorry.
-
I can only think he ran out of steam. A simply brilliant second half from Barnard...... he was outstanding.
-
I was stood next to him on the train and spoke to him for the whole journey between Waterloo East and Charlton. He was very pleasant, didn't duck (Excuse the pun) any questions and seemed happy to talk. He was going to Charlton as a guest of the Charlton chairman and his son is a Saints fan. There were some very intresting snippets but given how approachable he was and how much time he afforded me, it feels a bit crass to go and stick it all on a public message board. However there is one wrong to right..... I argued on here that we put ourselves in admin (So the Directors didn't become personably liable), It was however (As many on here said) Barclays that formally placed us into administration.
-
Lallana would have been a million signing on fee (or there abouts) Staplewood 6 million Forte nGusen You could be right, but with those financial commitments above, that might just exceed last years
-
Im pretty sure it is.... Take a look at the second photo
-
Come on then benji.... give us a clue (Can't find him anywhere) I see that Hoddle is actually in both photos.....Dalek will be doing his nut. Might need to send an extra box of tissues round to his.

Very good spot Brussels and I am pretty sure it is him. Funnily enough we were talking about him last night. He has now moved his academy from Spain to the UK. He's back.....but don't tell dalek.
