Agree with all of that, I said to the guy next to me last night that one of the main differences between the two teams was the goalie ! Allison consistently found his own man whereas McCarthy didn’t ! PL class is normally defined by control, touch, pass, move and vision. That’s why the top teams are in a league of their own.. Sadly it’s not gonna change for us unless we can exchange the likes of Romeu for DeBruyne 😩

Leicester have been quoted as wanting 60 - 70 million for Tielemans ! Would they pay anything like that for JWP, I doubt it ! If he wants to scale up in the PL, for me it could only be Man U, Man C, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea or Spurs but I'd put my money on Newcastle because pretty soon they'll be splashing the cash and Howe seems to like solid pros rather than prima donnas !

Depends upon how you look at it ! Dropped 3 points, then gained 3 points ! Over a season you're gonna get ups and downs (hence we are circa mid table) so for me it did actually compensate albeit with a totally different tactical approach !!

I guess that it depends on who we play against ! It will be interesting to see how we approach the Burnley game on Thursday as (unlike Arsenal) they are not a possession based team so maybe two up front with a high press may well be better than today's set up ??

For me Ralph got his selection and tactics right (given the clear difference in quality, known in advance) ! 1-1.at HT was a fair reflection of play and gave us a platform to move on with even although we were unable to do it ! Hard to blame the manager for Stephens blunder or the soft penalty and thereafter we were overrun (all of their subs would be first choice almost anywhere else) ! No shame in today’s performance at all, just have to accept that Arab money trumps all 😩 !
