I consider telephone 'cold calling' as an invasion of privacy and have used the BT (so called!) blocking service ! It is patently wrong that companies acquire your personal details and sell them on for profit (IMHO). I appreciate that people have to earn a living but the risk of scams is much higher by trading this way and also much of what they tell you is boll0x ! I once had a bird from Talktalk on the line extolling their virtues but even when I informed her that I would not use the company if they were the last one on planet Earth (I'd previously had a bad experience with them!) she kept on and on.... Basically I don't need it and get well p1ssed off when they interrupt my dinner etc ! Yes, I am an old f@rt, but I have no sympathy whatsoever for any of them now !

If you have ever played football you will realise that a teammate who is always available, never shirks a tackle, plays it simple, has a great engine, is always focused, always driven and leads by example is a great asset to have on the pitch ! He may not possess the lavish creativity of others but is essential to the make up of the total unit ! Dean Hammond comes into this category and I feel sure that the manager and the other players appreciate this too ! I also don't believe that he is captain for no reason ! All IMHO of course !

This is a sad day for all us diehard Saints ! The Clot was 'manna from heaven' - thick, useless, bitter, twisted and a first rate pikey ! He will be sorely missed, especially for his classic after match interviews ! They'll struggle to find anyone who meets our criteria so well (Stuart Gray would be ok but apart from being useless he does not possess the other Skatal attributes that Snotrill had in spades! No doubt they will talk about O'Neill, Hughes, Devonshire etc. but realistically the best they can hope for is Dave Jones or O'Driscoll ! The hope of Burley, Tony Adams or Uncle Avram pitching up to help with refurbishing the toilets is probably just a pipedream as well ! Quite depressing really
