I think that he comes into the category of a 'player's player' ! The manager obviously rates him and he certainly is a steady 'all rounder' which is needed in any squad ! He keeps his distribution simple and he never hides ! His real major weakness though is that he cannot turn and has no pace to recover ! This is why I think that he can be a liability at RB against a pacy winger ! All in all however, I think that we have bigger issues to address and I have faith that there will be positive changes in the January window !

Without wishing to relight the blue touch paper and start the whole shenanigans again, has anyone seen or heard of him at all ??? Has he been spotted at any match, home or away ? Does anybody live near him and perhaps saw him in the supermarket ? Anybody go shooting with him ? Anybody meet him through business ? Just interested as he seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth !

In the reality most of these companies don't give a sh#t about the actual transgressions of the individual. All they are worried about is short term bad publicity ! It won't surprise me at all if Tiger comes back from all of this, both stronger and richer ! If he returns to centre stage after adversity, there will be no end of companies queueing up for his services ! The early rounds are all single games to the finish, the final of the Northern and Southern sections (which is really the semi final) is over 2 legs and then the real final is a one-off again ! FFS why can't people just move to another part of the stadium for one game ! I asked for a seat in the Itchen directly opposite where I normally sit in the Kingsland and was accommodated perfectly (and very politely!) ! The players won't react differently because we have changed seats so why not just live with it ? Personally I think it's a chance to see other parts of the ground and get a slightly different perspective of the match and really is no big deal ! I am surprised to hear that some may boycott the game for this reason but I suppose it takes all kinds to support a football team ??

It would be nice if they both come on to the pitch at Wembley after we've won the play-off final, having just sealed promotion !!

The original post compared Saints to Notts County. The fact is that the wonderful, expensive, brave new world of Sven, Sol etc.. has now been put up for sale and I'll be surprised if there are many takers ! Spot on ! When AP first started he said that the club was 'dysfunctional' and that he felt he had to restructure completely, from top to bottom ! It took a couple of months to establish a strong backroom staff, then a solid spine to the team, then a goalscoring frontline, then fitness and finally a winning mentality ! So far he has delivered what it said on the tin and for that he deserves credit ! The prats who ran out of patience after about 5 games deserve to be ridiculed but, then again, they are probably too thick to realise it !!!!!

Given that the awards panel would/should not be privvy to insider/confidential information regarding the details of the SLH administration. Is it not reasonable to suggest that the 'gong' was awarded on the basis of the 'result' and nothing else ?? IMHO it is a joke to have an Oscar type ceremony in an industry which preys on the weak and defenceless (cue, big argument!) and where judgement cannot be based on anything other than favouritism or self interest !!!!! I'm not moaning at all, in fact I'm a very happy little bunny, having had an otherwise lonely Friday night (wife is 6,000 miles away at the mo!) patched up by a scintillating televised cup tie to watch (well, 2nd half anyway!). Just thought it was interesting that it was shown in some unusual countries, that's all !!
