FWIW my OP was intended to compare a big spending volatile regime with our much calmer approach ! As a matter of strategy NC stated that he wanted to start the whole process with a clean slate therefore Wotte was released and a whole new backroom team was built ! The sacking of McParland would be the equivalent of us sacking Pardew today, which I personally think would be ridiculous ! However, if it makes you feel better, I did not consider this point when I made the original post but even now I don't actually think it is relevant in the comparison !

It is by no means perfect but like so many websites it becomes much easier the more you use it and find your way around ! One added plus is that when you (occasionally) look at other FL clubs sites they become easier to use as well ! I did prefer the previous version but it became so tainted with Rupertesque propaganda that in a way I'm glad to see the back of it !!

That really wasn't the question posed on the original thread though, was it ? The strong implication was that our 'relegation rivals' had already ditched their managers and that we should consider that Pardew has until Xmas otherwise he will be out ! The premise that changing the boss early on makes a positive statement is nonsense IMHO, I predict that both Tranny and Wycombe will struggle whoever takes over and that we will prosper through strength of character and stability !!!!
