I have spent a lot of time in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. I have Chinese friends and not one of them would be upset by the word ‘ Chinaman’. In fact they often use it themselves ! Please do not be offended on other people’s behalf, it is really unhelpful !!

I left on 90 mins (missed the 9th), got drenched, Redjet was nearly an hour late (stood freezing in a queue), rough crossing, got in car, main Yarmouth road was shut for maintenance, got home after midnight ! Oh and BTW, my brother is a Leicester supporter ! Pass me the blade.....

I went to an away cup match at Reading's old ground (Elm Park) many years ago and your average brass monkey wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes it was so cold ! A total disaster as far as I remember, we had two players sent off (Benali and Robbie Slater IIRC) and lost ! Graham Poll (of Tilehurst, nr Reading) was ref and really had it in for us ! One of my worst ever matches attended, grrr......

Having collected programmes for the best part of 30 years, I have now given up ! The content inside is always very general, a few days out of date (printing deadlines) and there is basically nothing which you can't see online ! The circulation downturn of local papers is for the same reasons, just a sign of the times, I'm afraid !!

My final words on this subject : I took the advice from the website and pre-ordered 3 shirts for my grandsons (to be collected from Westquay). When I got there they told me they’d be ready by Wednesday! I overheard the guy next to me being told that printing would be done within an hour ! To cut a long story short, I cancelled my pre-order and got the shirts printed instore within the hour !! The staff were helpful so I’m not complaining but it does seem daft that preorders take longer than just turning up in the shop ! Still a bit peeved that there was no reduction for the delay as I now have to pay postage to Belgium and South Africa which would not have been the case a month ago (they were here in UK) ! Anyway, it’s done and dusted and the youngsters should be happy !

Never been any confirmation nor ITK info about the fallout so I’m doubting that it actually happened ! Could really do with him back though because the balance is not right without him and it seems crazy that after only a few games we are playing people out of position !

Lots of unnecessary negativity on here IMO, was Brighton’s own fault that they rightly went down to 10 men and thereafter we controlled the game ! You have to manage situations as they arise and I feel that we did that well ! Three points away from home is not shabby and we should be up for the Man U match next week ! COYS
