  1. All about opinions but I thought he was totally inept !
  2. I’m guessing that he is taking the p!ss
  3. A coalition of losers, interesting prospect, how could it possibly go wrong ??
  4. TBF Hypo did say it was unlikely that you would listen
  5. SOG, I actually agree with some of your points but fundamentally disagree on others however I do respect your right to have a differing opinion ! Although I have been very forthright in some of my responses, I assure you that it is not in any way personal (obviously I don’t know you anyway) ! If we ever do meet, I suggest that we stick to talking about Saints or footy in general
  6. I'm sure that you are a nice chap SoG but if you truly mean the points in bold here, you are either completely delusional or in total denial ! Difference of opinion is one thing but you really do have to accept reality before making changes in order to move forward. If Labour sticks to it's extreme left wing policies, it will be toast for many years to come ! I'd be happy to see the bulk of the party split from the Momentum mob and form a separate 'centre left' group and rebuild from there ! All governments become more accountable with a decent opposition but Corbynism is not the answer, this is not just my opinion, the country has spoken loud and clear (if you are actually willing to listen) !
  7. The backlash is hilarious Everything from the "system is wrong", the people have been "duped", the "media are against us" etc, etc, etc.... Hell, my (waspi) wife would have had a cheque for £20k in the post by now had Jezza gotten in but I still refused to vote for him ! Went down the pub last night, talked about Saints, Chelsea, even Brentford, it was nice to get back to reality, in fact Friday the 13th was a great day !
  8. With any system there will always be winners and losers ! The post mortem tends to highlight those unwilling to accept the reality of it ! Anyway, let’s agree to differ, I’m off down the pub
  9. Must just be a coincidence then that the losers bring it up after each election !
  10. Im not surprised, you lost the last four elections:)
  11. The losers in the Scottish referendum want a re-run ! The losers in the EU referendum want a re-run ! The losers in the 2109 election want to change the electoral system ! I think I can see a pattern emerging here.....
  12. Real bad news for the SNP then (whoopee!) as they got 45% of the vote and 80% of the seats ! Wee Jimmy Krankie is very adept at using percentages when it suits but when you bear down on actual numbers the message falls apart ! 2.2 mil voted to stay in the UK in 2014, 1.6mil voted to stay in the EU IN 2016, not that you’d ever know it when you hear the rhetoric of the SNP !
  13. Just for the record my ‘will of the people’ comment was directed purely at the Lib Dem’s for denying the referendum result ! I did not say that it applied to this election !
  14. 43.6% https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election/2019/results
  15. A principle widely ignored by remoaners !
  16. I’m afraid that’s what you get when you blatantly defy the will of the people !
  17. Jeremy has played a blinder...... For the Tories
  18. The pound is already over 1.20 to the euro !
  19. Missed that, mainly because I don't listen to Talksport. Wasn't being accusatory just never saw anything attributed to him !
  20. Sad news, lots of football people praising him but so far I’ve not seen anything from ‘Arry’ which I find surprising! Did they have a major fallout ??
  21. You do realise that (by law) you will now be addressed as 'dear' and that 'luv' is no longer valid
  22. I reserved my ST seat for £8 (OAP concession) and paid a £1.25 web fee ! I'm not concerned about the money as I would happily have paid a tenner (or more) but bizarrely I get peed off paying 15% for the privilege of doing it myself online, there is not even any postage as it's a smart card update ! I suppose I've just morphed into a grumpy old man
  23. I'm guessing Ralph won't change much given that we have a relatively settled team and (apart from conceding late goals!) have performed pretty well lately ! FWIW though, I'd bring in Valery for Cedric and consider Armstrong (if fit) and/or Boufal for a starting spot !!
  24. If only we’d taken Glasgow’s advice and followed the Everton model ! Always remember that Silva was seen as a big miss for us as well !
  25. I take your point but even the top teams tend not to dominate for the full 90 mins, my view is that 60 good mins is better than 30 good mins (which Norwich had) and gives you a better chance to win the match ! We all suffer as fans in the late stages as we struggle to hold the lead and I totally agree that confidence (which is the key) may well improve after these recent results ! Bring on the Geordies....
