Look at all the teams around us, they have £20m+ players stacked in their team up front. It's no surprise.

A bloke walking out behind me said our performance was "a disgrace". Found it ironically amusing in the first half that when Pelle misplaced a pass the Chapel loudly groaned but when Reed did the same thing a few minutes later they applauded. Our home support has become Arsenal like and it's annoying the shit out of me.

He's currently being noshed off by Lou in the Farmhouse bogs.

The half and half scarf sellers will be praying she gets a ticket so they have one extra customer.

They really should. Do we employ people on zero hour contracts? I presume some of the Halo staff are but then they aren't directly employed by the club.

This story on Kumb about one of their fans getting beaten up by a disabled Saints fan just cracked me up. We were rather drunk. This disabled guy and some of his physically abled friends enter the subway. Bootstrap, ever the fool, says quite loudly, "phwoarh, check out the rims on that bad boy." Moments later we're all outside, I'm being held back by a couple of his mates (although in truth I was doing very little to break away from my restraints, nothing in fact). The disabled fella has launched himself out his chair onto old Bootstrap, knocked him to the floor and is sort of strewn across him, delivering a very considered number of punches to his face. My mate could have fought back but he didn't. He took his kicking like a man. It was totally deserved and he knew it

Cheers Saints. Maybe they'll subsidise Man City too. With it being the last game it could be Cat A and therefore £51/£54. Ouch.

Great save Mignolet.

Sakho there with his best Lovren impression.

With 3 successive promotions they could. That's the point of the football pyramid. Why is it such a great thing that the richest clubs get richer while the poorest watch the promised land of the Premier League slip further away? Richard Scudamore is already excitedly trumpeting the notion that Burnley are economically bigger than Ajax. http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/11784128.Burnley__bigger_economically_than_Ajax___says_Premier_League_chief/?ref=rss

What do they think of the owners? If true it's a bit strange that Pearson could be sacked by one board member and reinstated later. That's no way to run a club. As for his reaction on Saturday it didnt look McArthur was that bothered by it so neither should anyone else be.
-
And you'd be saying that if we were languishing in League 1 without an owner who was prepared to pump money into the club to get us where we are? Premier League clubs rarely pay top money for lower league players. Most of the clubs selling anyone half decent are those recently relegated who have players worth something. Who, aside from Oxlade-Chamberlain, has been bought for £15million from below the Premier League? Also I'm not sure why the Premier League buying loads top players from abroad is a good thing? They should be concentrating on bringing through youngsters. Our clubs are still average in Europe, not that I particularly care how anyone other than Saints does anyway.
-
Yeah that is much better. Maybe the clubs could use some of the extra money to reduce ticket prices rather than spunk it on extra player wages.
-
I get BT thrown in with my Virgin subscription but they'll soon be charging for it if they're stumping up that much extra cash for the rights.
-
And so do all the other clubs. It's all relative. What it really does is kill competition because the money does not trickle down through the leagues in a way that anyone could describe as fair. Match going fans have paid the price with more expensive tickets and inconvenient kick off times. If it wasn't for these fans who create the "best atmosphere in the world" or whatever trumped up nonsense Sky call it then paid subscriptions would die on their arse.
-
If people stopped subscribing this ridiculous ****.ing contest would stop. No? That's fine, you just carrying on giving your £35 a month or whatever it is to the company that instigated the horrific wages being paid to footballers while moaning about the horrific wages being paid to footballers.

I'm glad saintroyt had cleared that all up.

Austin shoved Fonte into Forster while Onohua collided with him so there were 2 players crashing into him at the same time. Austin's push is indisputably a foul.

If you're looking for a market to trash Green Street style then head to the one on St Mary's Street. The lads drinking in the Kingsland Tavern won't mind some propa nawty Hammers fans acting up on their manor.
