I wonder if the Millwall fans are moaning on their messageboards about the fact they were singing "Play Up Pompey" at us?? Doubt it very much. Don't get me wrong it's pretty lame to be singing for rivals of the other team but at least it's singing.

Storrie on Radio 4 now. Pleaded innoocence from day 1 I was found not guilty in under 2 hours Fantastic news for Harry and Milan, affected all of us and our families In the clear now, we can get back to our lives Redknapp undoubtedly the right man for the England job, he's the fans choice throughout the country, best person for the job if it comes up.

Peanut butter fudge is nice, and dead easy. No need for a thermometer either: 125 g butter 500g dark brown sugar 120ml milk 250g peanut butter 1 vanilla pod, seeds only 300g icing sugar Melt butter in pan Add brown sugar and milk, stir. Bring to boil for 2 to 3 minutes without stirring Remove from heat, stir in peanut butter and vanilla seeds Put icing sugar into bowl, pour hot butter and sugar mix on top. Beat until smooth Pour into 20cm square tin, leave to cool. Put in fridge.

Millwall sang both "Play Up Pompey" and "Small Town in Portsmouth" tonight. Happens pretty often really. Football fans are quite generic in their lack of originality.

Yep, 3rd goal was a horrible decision. I was in Block 4 and it looked yards offside. Thought we were very comfortable at 2-1. I think Lambert was given offside for the disallowed goal but he didn't touch the ball, another bad decision. Rubbish crowd. Found it amusing that the 200 Millwall were singing "you're support is ****ing ****", but they were right. Bart - 8 - Some quality saves. Dodgy kicking at time but the pitch was pretty bad. Richardson - 6 - Not his best game Martin - 6 - Spoiled his performance by getting turned far too easily for the second goal. Fonte - 7 - Steady. Harding - 4 - Dire. Got turned too often. Gave the ball away at will. Ignored obvious passes. He did block a cross at one point though which was nice of him. De Ridder - 8 - Played well. Looked dangerous cutting inside. Should have scored when he cut into the box but tried to put it on a plate for Lee and passed it behind him. Hammond - 7 - Solid. Too slow in possession for me though. Chaplow - 6 - Rusty, but it's his first game back after a long lay off. Lallana - 8 - Our best player. Guly - 5 - Didn't play well, never really seemed in the game. Had one great header that was well saved. Lee - 7 - Good movement. Didn't link well with Guly but not sure how much of that was his fault. Some good runs with the ball one of which he should have scored from. Lambert - 6 - Gave us a focal point but was guilty of lazily giving the ball away on the left touchline for their second goal. Reeves - 8 - Bright, accurate passes, comfortable on the ball. Impressed. Barnard - 5 - Ineffectual.

Nice of Corp to spend some of his time on the way to Birmingham posting on here. I'm presuming he is on his way up there for tonight's game along with 4000 of the other best fans in the world.

True. When I was on a jury the judge said the same. We deliberated for ages before he said he'd accept a majority verdict. Redknapp will be found not guilty in this trial, but he's guilty in life of being a ****.

26000. The home end will be packed with Saints, or at least it will be by the end once we've passed the ball around a confused West Ham and battered them 7-0. It will be just like the end of Rocky 4 when all the Russians started supporting Mr Balboa.
-
Well he does go to every game, so if that's not supporting Saints then I'd like to see what is. Also no one is above criticism. Adkins makes mistakes, Cortese makes mistakes, our fans make mistakes. There's nothing wrong with people highlighting them if that's how they feel. But yeah, it's an internet forum. Not worth taking that seriously really is it?

I don't understand all the fuss about who is England captain. It's not as if it's cricket and he's making hundreds of onfield tactical decisions while the game is in progress. Most other countries don't give a flying crap who captains their team, and nor do I. Give it to whoever has the most caps or something, it really does not matter.

Not much mention of Ward-Prowse yet. I'd have him on the bench at the very least if he's fit. Bart Butterfield Martin Hooiveld/Fonte (I'd give one 60 mins, the other the last 30) Harding Chaplow Hammond Reeves De Ridder Lee Lambert Davis, Ward-Prowse, Cork, Connolly, Guly, Puncheon, Fonte/Hooiveld

I got back to Hamble at 1.15 which seems decent compared with a lot of people. Went on a bit of a detour of B roads in Brum to get away from the gridlocked A roads. This seemed to work, albeit with a few detours from the detour after I encountered a burger van stuck across the road and one bit where a local told me not to go the way I was heading or I'd be there all night. The M40 was insane. Saw loads of cars all over the place. Followed a lorry for over an hour at 30mph so I could just stay in its tracks before it stopped on a hill to help some stranded cars. Luckily I managed to wheelspin past it, back into the inside lane and carried on. It was that or sleep in the car in the middle of the motorway which I didn't fancy. Definitely a journey I'll never forget.

I have a feeling Billy Sharp will score a goal just like this tomorrow: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s-uo9mcgqik

Considering St Andrews is in Small Heath then shouldn't all their home games be postponed?
-
I don't think it matters who he picks, you won't be watching them for more than 3 games anyway,
-
They are both pretty terrible, but I slightly favour Milliband because he isn't Cameron.
-
Rio won't be in the squad anyway after he punches Terry instead of shaking his hand before their game this weekend.

Lib Dems do have a big support here (see the last council elections when they increased their votes in Eastligh winning EVERY seat at a time when they were given quite a roasting in the rest of the country) however I really can't see enough of those voters coming out to support them in a by election, especially as a lot of them will be hacked off about the coalition. Also council elections are different and to be fair they do a decent job in Eastleigh and won a lot of votes due to their support of the ongoing gravel pit protests which have been sparked by the Tory run Hampshire County Council. The Lib Dems do have very good grassroot campaigners here though, and the Tories don't. Mind you it's an easy campaign for the Tories this time, just bang on about Huhne being dishonest.
-
If we do have a by-election in Eastleigh then the Tories will walk it if they field a half decent candidate. Despite increasing his majority at the last election Huhne didn't have that big a lead which will easily be wiped out. As said above he is a decent MP. Whether he's arrogant and smug doesn't really come into it as far as his work in Parliament goes. He's also been very helpful whenever I've contacted him about local issues.

Mods, because my Dad was one and enjoyed a bank holiday in Margate running the Rockers ragged!
-
Because there's 37 of them. Reading have only got about 12 ultras, and that's their average age too.

She's hot, but I'm ugly so have pretty low standards.

Both. Depends what pub I'm in. I'm vaguely fussy about what I drink and can't abide the generic Carling, Fosters, John Smiths sort of stuff. No Guiness though, I find it rank. It should also be illegal for anyone to order more than one pint of it at a time as it takes so long to pour.
-
Bah. I'll probably be at Green Man that weekend. Depending on what division any of the teams are in I'll take Cardiff or Swansea away please FA, I could easily make it from the festival to one of those games on the Saturday afternoon and then back to the Brecon Beacons for some more music afterwards.
-
That would be the best dream ever if it had led into mine and instead of going to the pub to watch the match you ended up playing in it. Not sure you'd have been left with the energy levels to get to the ball and cross it in before it reached the byline after your morning exploits though, so best we leave it how it was.
