Is it block 42 that's started this "fuvking useless" chant?
-
If they haven't got us over 95% by the morning they should all be infracted and banned from the main board for one matchday. No excuses boys.
-
On 88% now. Unless Oxford mob up and pull an all nighter we've got this in the bag.
-
I've watched the highlights so many times today I think I might have broken iplayer.
-
Let all the others win manager of the month. Form is temporary, class is permanent.

I had my ST in block 42 until 2005 when I gave up and moved. Even back then there were idiots who would wave their tickets. In fact we ended up arguing with the gimps behind us who accused us of not going to many games when we were there every week and went to most aways too. I'm not sure what they hope to achieve with all this ticket waving nonsense but they are probably too braindead to understand the consequences.

"I think I speak for all Saints fans when I say that we would have preferred 2-0 and no car parking fee." Hahahaha Is Deppo behind this?
-
It's a surely a **** take? Well I found it really funny anyway.

That was a cracking win. We bossed the game from start to finish against a decent side. Fair play to Butterfield. I thought he was pretty poor on Tuesday but today he played well and put in a sublime cross for the first goal. The whole defence was superb in fact. We won so many challenges before they got near our box that it meant Kelvin had a pretty easy afternoon. Guly is so much better in the middle. Lambert was excellent even though for some reason he misplaced a few of the easier passes he had to make. Chaplow was just everywhere and immense again. A complete steal for £50k. Great to see Lallana back, he makes us such a better team. Can't wait to see the 3rd goal again. It was a work of beauty.

If we lose at Fratton I'm going to flush a toilet in anger on the way out. I might even leave a tap running. That'll teach 'em.

I guess SISA do still exist if they say they do. They can't claim to speak for anyone other than the 2 or 3 people who claim to run the 'organisation' though as they never speak to their members. As far as I'm aware anyone joining them years ago was granted lifetime membership so in theory they could claim to have thousands of members! Not sure if O'Callaghan still attends games. I haven't seen him at any for a while although that's not to say he isn't still coming along.

There was an article about this in When Saturday Comes about a year ago. Sadly I can't find it online though.

Forte. Needs more playing time, or just not good enough?
The Cat replied to CWD's topic in The Saints
He was dreadful tonight. Is he even a striker though? I thought he was mainly a winger. Whatever he is though he ain't very good at much except running quite fast. -
I do, but then I'm at home with the little one all week and sort the older one out for school every day so it's not like I'm at work all week and then out all day Saturday too. As someone said above it just depends what you prioritise. I basically have a part time job so I can afford to go to most Saints games. If people REALLY want to go they'll find a way.

And a £5k appearance fee into his bank account as (so I've been told by the best friend of an Academy player) that's what the nippers get if they play for the first team.
-
Don't forget we'll also be taking over 2000 to Palace for the Carling Cup game on Tuesday which is pretty damn impressive.
-
Nowhere near his best yesterday but never worth the amount of abuse being dished out towards him from the numpties stood behind me which went on from start to finish of the game. Thing is you could easily pick on any player and then start ragging off when they misplace a pass or fail to control the ball properly and have ample opportunities to do it. They'd probably even claim his assist for the goal was lucky or something, wish I'd asked them about it.
-
He was paying for a duvet with Sammy Lee?
-
De Ridder should be good for a start as he's only been used sparingly in the league so far. No offence to Forte but I hope he doesn't play up front by himself because he's not very good at holding the ball up and we lose possession too much. My Palace mate reckons they won't be anywhere near full strength so we have a good chance to progress even if we carry on resting quite a few.
-
It was a great save but Martin really should have headed it back across the goal into the massive space left by the keeper and given him no chance.
-
Haha, always good to come away from the ground with a celebration injury. And yes, our fans do seem to be going more mental when we score. The highlights from yesterday looked great, especially from the behind the goal angle. Quality.
-
Someone told me yesterday he's out for 6 weeks. Whether this is true or not I have absolutely no idea.
-
I hadn't noticed Martin was on the pitch until he had that header at goal. Played well though. Still a bit agricultural with his clearances but rather he did that than try and play his way out of defence if he's not yet confident in doing so. It's something that will come with experience and decent coaching though. He really is a fantastic prospct.

Agree about that backpack people, they have them at Lords when England play and I've often thought football clubs should adopt the same idea. Going out at half time is great. Derby did it too. Both clubs are probably run by smokers!
