  1. I'm off, but Hypo is trying to over dramatise the legal aspect and using emotive terms like 'against another Saints fan' to belittle SB stance, it's a process that's going on all the time in the small claims court also NI didn't mind ripping other Saints fans off. Besides I fail to see why its any one else's concern if someone feels ****ed of enough to try and get their money back
  2. Maybe it is his last resort, if its not then the courts will take that into account. To me 'a symptom of our litigious society' is reserved for people using the legal system to get money they don't deserve, this guy is just trying to get his money back that he gave over in good faith for a service he didn't receive. It's good that our fair society provides a legal recourse for these type of matters where the two parties can not resolve it otherwise. Its only a a process.
  3. It seems to me you are being a bit dramatic with the term 'sued'. The courts aren't going to take his house and life's savings, the bloke is looking for his money back plus costs, so that's £60 and a couple of hundred for costs. The courts will take into account any pre-case conduct and if they think Saintbobby has failed to speak to NI because he wants the case to go to court then the award will be reduced.
  4. He wants his sixty quid back what's so strange about that. Most times you just put it down to experience and swallow it but occasionally something winds you up to a point where you pursue, so I don't blame him. All NI has got to do is pay the money back.
  5. Do people on here really believe that we drink more than others fans on away trips.
  6. Paying back £60 won't bankrupt him will it especially if as you state no one else will follow. I'm right behind Saint Bobby, I would be ****ed of if I paid £60 for what I heard was crap and to not get a reply from The Trust would **** me off. At least Saintbobby is doing something for himself and not just on here moaning about it. Lets hope you don't fall of your bike this morning or the pavement might try and sue you.
  7. On another note we should help out our fellow Hampshirians (or whatever we are called) in their hour of need.
  8. Totally agree.
  9. Maybe we have identified players but wont pay the going rate.
  10. People who want the convienience of buying tickets for all the league matches in one go and to be assured the same seat all season.
  11. 'Not in a rush to buy' is code for we are not willing to pay the market rate for a player. Lowe use to quote it all the time, then we would get in someone at half the price who is less than half as good.
  12. I've always found the ticket office staff to be lovely people doing a good job, especially the girl with the lovely voice.
  13. Docker will like that name. Southampton Spitfires, Sharks, 69ers, 76ers. What about a complete 180 degree turn, Southampton Sinners with Red Devils as a nick name, confusion marketing to get some of the far eastern market.
  14. Indeed, the advatages of being vague.
  15. Isn't being optimistic during the good times (and pessimistic during the bad) part of the fun of supporting your team. Or will we be held to account for our failed predictions at the end of the season. Personally I think we will break the double ton, points and goals.
  16. Whilst I am happy with The Sash for the season, by using the whole kit you are being a naughty boy with your stats. We have worn a striped shirt since 1896 (apart from the 10 seasons in the 80's). We have only worn the kit you mention for 10% of Saints history not the 40% you claim.
  17. Southampton wins draws Bournemouth wins League 7 3 4 FA Cup 0 1 1 League Cup 0 1 1 Total 7 5 6 From Soccerbase. We have only played each other 18 times and it closer than I thought and we havn't beaten them in a cup, ever. Still this season will give us a chance to go up to 11 wins. Also interesting is that we have only played them twice in 50 years and other than the cups we have only played them in the third div.
  18. Third division sides don't have strength that far down and we only have to come top of that pile to win the league.
  19. Have you seen his first name, nuff said. I guess his first task is to find us a good shirt sponsor, anyway I give him two months before he is sacked.
  20. Has he been spotted yet in a local hotel or a service station, we need to know.
  21. Congratulations, my second was born four weeks ago so another Saint, as a Matthew I can assure you he will like his name. On a different note I managed to get 'Oh When the Saints'played at my wedding, it was great getting the whole church singing it.
  22. Disappointed yes, worried no. I'm disappointed that we havn't made one or two big signing's a week since the end of the season but I'm also disappointed that I don't drive an Audi R8, I havn't won the lottery yet, I don't get woken up by a blow job every morning or that I can't get into 32inch trousers. There's plenty of time yet.
  23. If you mean the moaners then you may have a point. If you mean the team then you are sick in the head.
  24. I had a few over for a bbq on Saturday, that would have looked great as a centre piece. I'm definitely going to make one for my next do .
