Can one of the stattos amongst us work out the probability that any of those attending are actually posters on here.? Pretty slim I'd guess
-
More to the point, none of the other top ten have had to play us yet .
-
You obviously never went to an England Schoolboys game at the old Wembley
-
I reckon that you need look no further than that sentence to work out why certain potential transfer targets ended up not being signed.

Now I've seen the picture I realise he's not kissing the badge at all. He's using the shirt as a comfort blanket. It was an evening game remember. He's just doing what most toddlers do when they get tired.
-
Wouldn't be the first time. As for kissing the badge I always think that's a bit weird anyway. A thumping of the left chest with right hand, maybe with an additional thumbs up, would to me indicate that you are proud to be wearing the shirt / proud of the club. But kissing a badge - unless you are a one club wonder like MLT - just makes a player look like a slapper who'll **** anyone for the right money.

A fan in the board? Who was the front runner???

Never noticed it before, but how come the shadow/reflection is taking a **** ? -
Was in the Under West Stand / Archers corner for that game and it really did seem like their fans spent the whole game doing nothing but make holes in the newly erected fence. Plenty of booted legs made it through but thankfully no bodies followed, it would have been a bit lively if they'd managed to breach the defences. Never saw Archers end so packed! (excluding Channon's testimonial ) , must have been a lot without tickets in there. Although to be fair there was nothing going on on the pitch to distract them - no-one will ever convince me that both sides didn't agree to play out a draw that guaranteed we both went up. Love the first b&w photo from a bygone day before political correctness. Group of girls on the pitch with an advert over their heads declaring "Bet she's shopping at Carrefour now"

And the award for the biggest "Wooosh" of 2011/12 season goes to .....................
-
This has been our best "start" to a season for 103 years. But how long is a "start" ? It seems to be that from the 3rd game onwards statistics of best start/worst start /most goals scored/conceded at the start etc for x years are attached to any club they cabn be found relevant to . So when does a "start" just become "the season" ?
-
Photo 15 is the give-away. If you are tripped the natural instinct would be to get your hands to the ground asap to prevent your face smashing into the ground. Anyone who "falls" with hands in the air and looking for the referee is in control of their body and faking it.

If someone then clicks the link from fb would they need to register to read it (this forum ) or would it be a "logged in" link ?

I did see on his twitter feed "#saintsfc approached me to sign for them. If only they'd asked last year I loved that sash shirt. Had to tell them, sorry don't do stripes"

Don't really think you can make any comparisons between goal scoring records in different leagues or even different clubs for that matter unless the player is playing exactly the same role in the same formation/playing style. I'd be far more interested in a goals per scoring opportunity ratio as a mark of a striker's true quality. Does OPTA or anyone else keep those stats?
-
Does the OP not realise that all such stories are to be treated as total bull**** unless a verifiable ear-lobe comparison is provided ?
-
The order of the post title would be the order I'd put them in - although there's several I can think of would be ahead of Davis

LoL If I had a pound for every ITK-but-can't-reveal-any-details-hint that subsequently comes to nothing that I've heard from Pilchards over the last 5 years I'd do the decent thing and buy the Ginger Tosser some hair dye;)

I also think its ********. Until he's in the Fourth_Official's twitter pic
-
Who is Twitter's Fourth_Official Picture of?

if only he'd held the shirt the other way round we could read the name on the back. Guess we'll never know -
..... Most consecutive league wins ever in English Football - 14 . If we can beat it the 15th will be Cardiff away Most Consecutive away wins Football League 8 If we can beat it the 9th will be Derby away Most Consecutive away wins in English football 11 If we can beat it the 12th will be Bristol City away Most Consecutive Wins at start of a season 13 If we can beat it the 14th will be home to Middlesboro. If Roy Castle was still around he'd have a programme just for us.

I think you do misunderstand, unless you listened to the commentary during the game. You can listen to Solent streaming online as per the radio broadcast whether laptop or pc, tune-in or whatever UNTIL the match starts, then the game is replaced with a recorded messag

That's what I love about football. How wouyld video replays ever help with so many different interpretations? Absolutely nailed on red. In my view other player wasn't running into him. Barnsley guy went for the ball, had one leg low at full stretch, no momentum, and his whole body weight was leaning back and away from Chaplow trying to avoid him. Definitely a second movement from Chaplow which looked to me like he was trying to "avoid" a collision by putting his foot and weight into him then launching himself backwards using Barnsley guys thigh/****** as a springboard

Only if the big signing was me .

At least you quantified it with an "almost certainly" I can only speak for myself. Don't go to games regularly any more. Haven't bought a programme since god knows when, probably still at The Dell. I've asked someone to get a copy of this one for me as from the cover I am assuming (possibly incorrectly) that inside I am going to find an interesting article by / interview with NC. He's opened up a bit pre-season giving a bit more insight into how the club is run and plans for the future, I'm hoping there's more inside. Any players/match action pic would not have gained my interest in the slightest. A picture of the ML flag would have made me think " Meh, seen a picture of that already". So in my market research sample data of 1 the cover alone has ensured a 100% increase in sales. (before The 9 points it out I am aware that 100% of zero is still zero but you know what I mean)
