  1. Seager misses an absolute sitter! Great approach play though.
  2. 'You know you're feeling old when....' .... Nick Barmby's son comes on for Leicester's U21s
  3. Great goal from Saints just now. Mugabe, Gallagher and Seager linking up really well. 37 minutes gone. Live stream:
  4. Given LESS people voted for the SNP than voted 'Yes'' in the referendum, that must mean that "many" people who voted for separation didn't vote for the SNP in the general election. (37% of the electorate voted for separation compared to 35% of the electorate that voted for the SNP)

He was arguably our best player when he came on. Some nay say that isn't saying much though....
  6. Yup. I've often defended the Lib Dems on here and have a lot of admiration for Nick Clegg. I'm not sure that admiration stretches to voting for the Lib Dems in the future but stranger things gave happened...
  7. Just back from the game. Echo most of what's been said so far. The players simply don't seem up for it. Only Reed put in a decent shift, effort wise. Clyne and Bertrand were both ineffectual. Why don't they overlap down the wings anymore? No runs off the ball from midfield into the attacking 3rd either. You can see the player on the ball urging someone to make a run but it rarely happens, so the ball inevitably goes backwards or sideways. Not sure if the booing of the players who came over to acknowledge the fans after the game was helpful but maybe it'll buck them up for the last few games. Bertrand in particular seemed affected by the boos and seemed to be remonstrating with a few fans. I'm starting to feel a little concerned about next season. We've been in 'something to prove' mode at the start of the last couple of seasons but next season there might be a danger of starting to play in a comfort zone if the recent lacklustre performances are anything to go by. I'm usually an optimist after a defeat but a few doubts starting to enter my thinking now. Maybe another exodus is required to rekindle that 'something to prove' attitude amongst the players. Hopefully the apparent apathy over the last couple of months is temporary.
  8. I was on the receiving end of many more stories of failings in the NHS when Labour were in power. I'm not saying everything is perfect in the NHS under the Tories, far from it, but to paint a picture of 'NHS = bad' under the Tories and 'NHS = good' under Non- Tories is simply wrong, in my experience. The NHS achieved record satisfaction levels last year. Damn those nasty NHS trashing Tories....
  9. Or anyone in the Labour party that left the system unchanged for 13 years?
  10. Will do. My wife and sister-in-law work in the NHS so I'll consult them over the weekend. Can't think why they haven't mentioned its all going tits up before now though. Must have skipped their mind....
  11. Source?
  12. Careful....whataboutery is frowned upon on here
  13. Indeed. Or, put another way... 37% of the Scottish electorate voted for separation last year whereas 35% of the electorate voted for the SNP last night. And yet the media will continue to hold up the SNP as representing the views of the majority of Scotland when, in fact, its roughly a third.
  14. Indeed. It was much better when we had a female shopkeeper's daughter running the show...
  15. Five years
  16. The SNP gains have no effect on the Tories winning a 326+ seat total
  17. "Its easy if you try"
  18. Labour have requested full recount in Ed Balls' constituency. Bye bye Ed...?
  19. Wow...34% swing from Labour to SNP in Dumbartonshire. RIP the United Kingdom...
  20. Douglas Alexander loses his seat
  21. Some pundits now predicting an overall Tory majority
  22. One of Labour's top targets Nuneaton comfortably held by Tories. Goes completely against pre-election polls.
  23. Labour hold Wrexham but with 3% swing to Tories.
  24. Battersea, another Labour target, has 2% swing to the Tories. Again, backs up the exit poll.
