I seem to remember they only wanted to give a short term contract to the Copley’s until the end of last season. They probably can’t afford to sack the chuckle brothers now they are on a long term contract..!

I wonder if Leicester’s decline this season can be attributed to importing 50% of last seasons Southampton defence…….

Not sure if it has been mentioned on here or not, but a couple of the papers claim we are in for Ryan Christie from Celtic, but face competition from Burnley. The fee could be as low as £5m…..!

I still have very happy memories of my one and only visit to Old Trafford in the late 80’s, when two Man U supporting friends offered me a trip up there with them. Saints won 2-0, with Colin Clarke getting both goals. You can imagine all the ManU bragging on the way up there from Somerset..! The return journey was very different, I nearly had to walk home….!

TBF who would have thought 2 years ago that we would sell him on for a profit. Very surprised if he plays in half of Villa’s games over the next three years. Only a three year contract too, I thought we had offered him a 4 year deal…….!

Say if Chelsea activate the buy back clause and he doesn’t want to go to Chelsea, I don’t see how they can force him in these days of freedom of movement, post Bosman…….? After all he has just rather publicly said he doesn’t see his future at Chelsea……! Who knows in 5 years time Abrahamovic may have lost his fortune….
