I think it's fairly obvious why he became disillusioned, he was tapped up. If I was any of the top football clubs in the world, I would run a mile from someone as unprofessional as VVD......

The thing that baffles me about the whole VVD issue is, that there never has been an offer, as far as I know, made by anyone Liverpool included, for his services. No transfer bid has ever been rejected by Southampton, so why is he refusing to cooperate?

How could you ever equate transfer deal involving Gareth Bale and Tommy Forecast......?

I think people need to realise that any of these big foreign "investors", with a few very notable exceptions, are not buying the club because they love it, they are doing it to make money. Any"investor as the term implies are looking for some sort of dividend down the line. These " investors" only have to look at the Liebherrs to see the returns it is possible to make.

The likes of Australia , Canada and New Zealand are all clamouring for closer ties to the EU.......
