Damn Mandela for taking away those white people privileges...

How far are we off a Top 6 place (fifth or sixth in all reality)?

Let's be fair. I love Rickie and he's been great for us. But, he isn't fit enough to lace Sheringham's boots and comparing him to Berbatov is like comparing Fox to Ashley Cole. FFS. -
He did a bit. Talked about playing with fantastic young players, Le Tiss, Shearer and Wallaces. Also talked about Lawrie Mac signing him and then leaving straight away.
-
Played his best football at LM, swapping with Bridgey though...

I take it this is a joke? Palmer was decent for us, but played, what a season and half? Telfer played mostly RM and McLoughlin was a load of toss and a complete disappointment, given he was the clubs record signing and first £1m player (if I remember correctly).
-
Just listened to an interview with Jimmy on Keys & Gray (podcast from yesterday). What a signing he was for £30k. Not sure if we've had a player that can rival his combined hard work, toughness and ability since he left? I know the game has moved on since then, but the only CM's I can think of that have made a sustained impression on our team has been: Oakley and the current pair of Schneiderlin & Cork. We've had so much dross in there for 20-odd years.

What's the first bit to this chant? Nice to hear something 'new'. By new, I mean more than likely stolen from Utd.
-
Are you saying Veron was a poor player? Lol. He may have not lived up to his price tag at Utd, but he was a brilliant player over his career. On the subject of Wellbeck, to start games for Utd in the CL against teams like Real, and score - you have to have something about you. Consistency is what he needs...

What's the fuss? Apart from the blip in 1971, the FA have always done what's right for the Women's game: http://www.thefa.com/GetIntoFootball/Players/PlayersPages/WomensAndGirls/History_of_womens_football.aspx 1921 - The FA's finest hour...

What's worse is that Wellbeck, Cleverley, Milner, Smalling, Jones, Walcott, Chamberlain etc are the 'future' of the National team. Decent top flight players, but never ever going to win us anything...

Good article and Podcast on BBC y'day, dispelling the myth of how much good we actually do when 'voluteering' abroad... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-22294205

Carrick actually turned Woy down in 2012, as he didn't want to go as a Squad player. I would suggest that that has a lot of bearing of his current non-selection and hence his quote...

Was this before he started taking it in the gob from his Pompey 606 mates?

A robot that does everything, like iRobot or Bicentennial Man. Failing that, a clone that I can send to work, while I do what I want...

Katy Perry, Swedish House Mafia....would be pretty damaging for my Street Cred if that ever got out...

Coventry and Bristol City too...

I think that it's been a lovely touch that a couple of times this season, when we've been leading - it's been played over the tannoy. Fully reclaimed. WTFILN?

So what did Chinny manage to recoup for his £17m 'invesment'? How much did he manage to siphon off before this settlement? Any guesses? Wondering what his losses were in the end...

I am saying that all those people getting all misty-eyed thinking about what a great nation England is, maybe ought to think about some downright disgusting things we've been a part of. Not that any of this stuff gets publicised (not really hard to see why). I could go on...

Yep. It's times like today I think what an amazing bastion for Human Rights the British Empire was: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bengal_famine_of_1770 Makes you proud to be British, eh?
-
How about some of the SSN lovely ladies? I would love to hear what Millie and Hayley have to say about the games. Maybe make them bend over to pick stuff up every now and again (displaying growlers). Perfect.

Exactly and this is what is making things so bad. Charity will eat itself, mark my words!
-
FFS. No, I'm not Super Mikey!
-
Well I commend people that actually are helping people. Like I said, I do donate to charity. I personally think that Charity has become too much like a business now. What I really don't like is the emotional blackmail, it stops me donating instantly.
-
Could be. However, I think it's counter productive. Anything resembling a charity advert airs for about 0.5 seconds in my house now because of their emotional blackmailing, shock tactics. All this hassling makes me less likely to donate.
