One thing that occurred to me yesterday, my partner asked me if I wanted new Saints shirt for fathers day (In less than 2 weeks) she was unaware that they weren't on sale yet....let alone not even unveiled. It got me thinking that I really do think saints have missed a bit of a trick not getting them on sale before fathers day as I would be I'm not the only father who may have got one

I still don't get this 'why we playing another prem team mentality' often other prem teams play each other, last year for example Chelsea, Villa & Blackburn all played in the Asia cup. What's going to prepare us better for the prem playing the team that finished 3rd in the prem or playing Yeovil away??? Plus if Arsenal are playing it will be easier to attract a bigger European club like Ajax

Team you most want to beat next year...

Summer 2012 HCDAJFU Thread - Premier League Special Edition

A couple of Villa season tickets holders told me this morning that Heskey, Guzan & Cuellar had been released and the first thing I thought was Guzan wouldnt be the worst signing. A good keeper who has been unlucky that he's had Friedel & Given ahead of him who have been superb. -

Please god know. I work up here with a bunch of villa season tickets holders and I've watched them quite abit and most of the fans do nothing but complain about him, the last goal he scored was November last year and with Bent's injury he has been playing upfront. Unless he is facing and running at the goal he is useless, hasn't got a footballing brain just pace. Tadanari Lee will be better than Gabby -
Why would it be so strange to play a fellow premier league (love saying that) club in pre-season? last year Chelsea, Blackburn & Aston Villa all played in the Asia Cup. Surely we'd be better playing the likes of Arsenal to prepare for the Prem rather than Yeovil away!!! If Arsenal are confirmed then it makes it easier to attract a fellow big European side, probably why it was part of the deal

HI Timebomb, I have had it confirmed that the Fleece on Evesham Road in Redditch will be showing the Saints game so that is where I will be watching on Saturday, you are more than welcome to join me.
-
I was also at the Birmingham game in the snow, over 4 hours it took us to get back to Redditch. I will check with the good lady make sure I have a pass for Saturday lunchtime and I'll also check with Ben the landlord of the fleece and see if he is showing our game on BBC or West Ham on Sky.
-
Hi timebomb, I am in Redditch if the Coventry game is on TV I'll probably be watching it at the Fleece Inn on Evesham Road. Where do you normally watch the games? Do you get too many games?

SAF says United will loan out Will Keane and possibly Pogba both very highly rated at United

I can see either Frimpong or Myachi from Arsenal on loan, Myachi would be interesting a Japanese mate for Lee
-
Stoke City - been mid table prem club for a while play **** hoof- ball football, boring little weasel of a manager with his **** cap on, really hate watching them - no one would care if they were relegated Derby are also a nothing club yoyo'd a few times but just boring There must be so many lower league clubs that have been in the Same division and just plod along year after year
-
Our bench on Friday night contained 3 defenders Harding, Richardson & Martin I would have liked to have seen Yago Falque on the bench someone that could unlock a defence a bit more creativity, so far he has been a complete waste of a loan bigger teams will stop loaning us players if we never play them

Great interview, interviewer needs to do his research better in future how many times did Mick have to correct him
-

If we go up, what away games would you want to go to?

As I live in the west midlands Aston Villa, West Brom unfortunately looks like we may swap places with wolves. Also like to do Spurs before they move grounds, good friend is a norwich fan so looks like bak to Carrow Road -

Mick Channon Salisbury or is that too far? -
What a difference the returning players & January acquisitions have made. I remember a game at the beginning of January where I looked at our bench and thought 'Christ that's weak' and today I looked and thought bloody hell no chaplow, de Ridder or falque in the squad what a position to be in for the run in. Bring on west ham COYR
