I tried to do the sums, but gave up, but if the report from Italy was true, then it would have meant at the time about£65k I think. Of course, if his contract was in Euros, then it would be a bit less now, nevertheless it is a significant wage, IF THE REPORTS FROM ITALY WERE TO BE BELIEVED.

we haven't got as strong as squad as we did two years ago and aren't as liberated from the perils of a potential relegation battle as we were then. This is not fact, and is patently not true. Think that's why exception was taken to your post. We have a much stronger squad, with competition for all (most places).
