After Chelsea they have a seemingly ridiculously easy run of games up until April 11th when they play United. Their next game is home to Hull, the only potentially difficult fixture for City after Chelsea and before United is away to Liverpool on March 1st. We can catch them.

You sure Sam was at the O2? Lou Gallagher (is that his GF?) was there for the Queen/Lambert gig, Sam retweeted her tweet on Twitter, but there is nothing to suggest Sam was there himself. This is almost as bad as the people that used to think Matt Oakley was a waste of space. Unbelievable. Steve Davis has been shown several times now to be what really makes us tick, especially when he plays in the attacking role. Yesterday until Jack Cork came on he had to play in defensive role, and was still excellent. You realise how much he affects the team only when he is missing. He also does not get the plaudits that JWP gets because he has so often played the killer pass that leads on to the assist and then the goal, one reason I don't go with the "assist" stat.

You seem to have a bit of a problem with Shane Long. Made 2nd goal yesterday (the winner) and with one exception his defensive work was superb (did lose his man when Guffron? had his chance late on. His work rate and his all round play is superb and as good as anyone in the team.

I can think of several appropriate answers to that question.

The 6 are Vic, Morgan, Toby, Yoshida, Mane and Mayuka, but should also list JRod and even Gallagher, so thats 8 already (admittedly you could argue Gallagher is not a "senior"), so if we lose Tadic and Bertrand that's 10 players out altogether, and clearly another couple (Cork and Davis) who are not 100%. We really have to learn for next season, this is the second year running when we have tried to work with a ridiculously small squad, been brilliant when our best eleven or so are available. We are 3rd at the moent if we can get through today without losing this would be a terrific achievement.

Kicking directly into touch (at least twice) is not excellent. Usually one of his better attributes.

I'm sure we have too but it will have been a good many years since we played there in red and white stripes, there would not have been an issue with last year's Arsenal clone kit or the previous years Liverpool clone kit (or the sash for that matter).

It was not great at St Marys. This time we're playing under floodlights, the weather is grey and overcast, there may be snow, there are factors that may have influenced this change. Still, its good to be playing in the yellow/blue again.
