We would not have lost all three if Morgan had been playing. I want to say FACT but of course it isn't, but that is how it would have been. Well for a start he's not fit. But as we have so few options (because the board cocked up in the summer with not enough signings) we have little option but to play him. Long is also not fully fit, hence why he is not playing 90 minutes. Mane is complete turd. Without Morgan we are very average and we have a dodgy keeper. Other than that everything is fine. The Happy Clappers have been telling us all season so it must be true.

Not true, plenty of good goals that could not be prevented. We have gone from a team that makes very few mistakes to one that is making very simple mistakes regularly

This. Good to see that at least one person actually read the article instead of just the headline. The one thing he definitely does not do is rule out CL, he says we have to learn quick (if we want to achieve that). the real situation is that there really are only 2 teams better than us in the PL, Chelsea and City. They are so far ahead of everyone else, Man U are there despite being awful after a run of lucky results, West Ham are doing well, yet we scored 3 against them, Arsenal are unbelievably average. The thing that is preventing the dream of CL is our pathetically thin squad, just like last season. Until that is properly addressed we will never get to CL and probably not EL either.

I credit RvP with playing in offensive positions at a semi decent level "The first goal is a bit of a gamble, nine out of 10 times it doesn't come off and you still have to score. I was a bit lucky there, it went through his legs but you earn your luck in those situations." I still don't really blame FF for the first goal, everyone knows it was an awful back pass from Jose, when he could have just knocked the ball into touch. But to try to deny that FF was completely blameless is just ignoring the facts. In the end the first goal mattered not, we equalised, it was their second that beat us, and that was definitely the fault of FF, although the defence, and Big Vic in particular must shoulder some of the responsibility for losing their man.

Mayuka. I note that RK did not mention him when he talked about players we would lose in January and needing to replace them. Maybe the plan is to give him away rather than sell him, you know like one free Mayuka with every 4 gallons of petrol or something. We could also sell Boruc, Osvaldo, Ramirez (all unlikely but could have happened).

But conversely we would beat Southampton, especially with their injuries, so that's a 6 point advantage we would have over Arsenal. I think.

He will be at Boscombe next season when they are promoted to PL, returning to his spiritual home (on loan)
