Nah, I think on the radio its easier to tell them apart, Antonio sounds nothing like Papa. Papa has a foreign accent

Thats not being racist, just not being able to see clearly, I had the same problem at Wembley. And I mixed up Mills and Gillett at one point, same issue.

A draw would be better overall, even if it meant we stayed in 10th today. If the Gas win they can still stay ahead of us even if we beat them

Burnley v Citeh. Would you leave early if it was Saints?

Wish I'd left early when we were 3-0 up against Leeds, but I didn't, and have never done so. -

Depends, if we scored 7 I would still be happy -
Boooo boooo boooo (This is for Mawhinney by the way, in case anyone thinks I am booing NC)

So, in summary no-one knows, other than what was on the OS "personal reasons" as I originally posted.

In truth there are not really many suggesting that AP should go, it would be quite scandalous for AP to be sacked now. But that doesn't mean he is above criticism. Last night was a case in point with a poor selection and poor substitution decision-making - why on earth was Barnard on the bench? Swindon away near the start of the season also showed that on occassions AP seems to lack the imagination at times to change the game by making switches. We are also inconsistent, very good one game, and hopeless another. We also seem to have a tendency to start some games slowly rather than going for the throat early on. There is something still not quite right, which I can't put my finger on, but I'm confident that with a proper pre-season and a couple of quality signings, we will be very strong next season and will be fighting for the top spot, not the play-offs. We have clearly improved over the season, there is a swagger and confidence on occassions that shows that most of the 1st team have got the right idea, but that confidence is still a bit fragile, and on other occassions can seem like over confidence.

Worth remembering that Huddersfield host Colchester on 1 May, so either one or both will not win at least one. Colchester have a very difficult run in: Millwall (H), Swindon (H), Charlton (A), Hartlepool (A), Tranmere (H), Huddersfied (A), Orient (H) - they will do well to win more than 2 of those. Huddersfield have Wycombe (A), Brentford (H), Walsall (H), Millwall (H), Stockport (A), Colchester (H) and Exeter (A) - at least 3 tricky ones not including Colchester. I know we won't do it, but it could get quite close if we can put in some good performances.

Anyone know what happened to DC last night? I was annoyed that it looked like he had been dropped but it seems he wasn't available for personal reasons, according to the OS. Hope it was nothing bad, but seems a bit strange. We really need DC to be available for the remaining games and next season, because he is class.

Don't think Pards planned for Carlisle to gift us 3 goals. Berk. Fact is Pards blundered last night. Doesn't mean he should be fired, but should be honest and put his hands up. His reaction on the OS is clearly bull****. We clearly did not boss the game, those that were there, the commentary and the stats prove that. Picked the wrong team, and failed to react quickly enough with subs. He did the same at Swindon away, occassionally he makes mistakes, but I still want him as manager next season, because he is better than just about anyone else around.
-
Tonight hasn't changed that, it has been a fact for several weeks. Doesn't excuse **** performance and wrong team selection/formation. Even though play-offs were gone long ago, team should be going all out to win, it helps to set us up next season. The winning mentality and all that. Pshycolgically we need to end the season on a real high, with a run of good wins.

I thought Swindon were northern bastards Even for me here they're still up north.
-
We'd better hope he is, if not then we will be looking for 2 good CM replacements. But, like you I wouldn't be surprised, Spiderman owes AP nothing, he is one of the few that is not a Pardew man.
-
Why wasn't he on from the start? Why put the league's 2nd highest scorer on the bench? L&B up front should be the norm, and with Connolly on the bench. Still at least we have fought back.
-
James, Gillet, Puncheon in the middle, no alternatives, my arse. Plenty of alternatives, none of them were particularly attractive, fact is Spiderman is a big loss. AP needs to sort this area out for next term, we need some proper alternatives in the centre of midfield.

True but winning 50% would be an achievement, 17 out of 38.
-
Don't be daft. He just needs to understand his players better, and be prepared to go for broke. I'm sure next season you will see him learn to use what he has at his disposal better. Worst thing to do now would be to give him the push. But it is fecking disappointing to put out such a stupid team when we should have gone for it.
-
I'm sure realistically he knew it was over after we drew at Exeter like most people did, but it shouldn't stop him going all out to win the remaining games. Why put out a team that is not going all out to win? Nuts.
-
You believe wrong, last 2 (Tranmere and Brentford), previously lost 0-1 to Swindon. Just shows how bad they have been all season, only 3 wins at home prior to the last 2 games. They have lost at home 11 times. You can keep denying for all you're worth but this really was a game we should have gone all out attacking to win. Maybe we still will, but our slow start was not what was needed tonight. I don't often agree with Alps but tonite he was spot on.
-
Sure, 5 home wins all season, they are good away but **** at home.
-
After the Lord Mayor's Show is coming to mind. I'm usually quite positive but this sounds like total dross. Fecking hope Barnard starts the 2nd half. OK, so I was typing while we scored, now I look like a plonker LOL
-
Doesn't he have to be on the pitch first? League's 2nd highest scorer on the bench, very odd.
-
Sky - Saints struggling. Showed the goal, good strike marking non-existent.
-
Happen to agree with Alps, 1 striker, league's 2nd highest scorer on the bench and Connolly not even in the squad. I agree its not totally defensive but neither is it the team you would expect if you were looking to win. Why such a defensive bench? Not really bothered, sure AP knows what he's about.
