Who do you suggest. From what I've seen we do not have a 'speed merchant'. We don't seem to have anyone who can run quite fast.
-
He is, but he isn't the goalkeeping coach. Seems to have turned his talents to set pieces. We used to be good at them.

Gunn isn't the problem. Neither is he the solution. It's down to organisation, or lack of, and that I'm afraid is down to the management (team). The whole defensive set up from the midfield back is a shambles. Gunn's calamity today was down to awful play by Ward Prowse.

Really does make you wonder whether Danny Rohl leaving was a bigger deal. Ralph just doesn't seem to have any idea this season, unable to motivate the players who look lethargic and unfit. Complete shambles in defence. Nothing creative in MF and awful up front. Is Ralph's first starting season really any different to Hughes?

Reckon we would lose every one, that's what we do at home.

Surprised no one has mentioned Puel taking over Les Saints.

Tweeted as well. Probably a put up job, clearly not really injured. All a cover up.

Was no one at the game who would have seen Cedric warming up? Also perhaps noticed him leaving the pitch. Obviously not many on here go to games, but surely someone was there. Maybe supporters are too far away from the players at the New White Hart Lane or whatever its called to be able to see Cedric, he is quite small to be fair. What about the bloke that does the vlog or whatever, surely he has video evidence.

It wasn't Cedric's fault. No one was marking a player. That's how zonal marking works. The fault in the end is with Ralph for coaching the defence to zonal mark.
-
Wasn't on the bench Friday, sat in the stands with Djenepo.

Think Ralph needs some help, especially in the defensive area. We really don't seem to have any defence minded coaches. Kitzbichler is not defence minded, don't think Fleming is either. He needs to sort out defensive set ups, cut out zonal marking would be a start. Our players abilities are limited but you can at least organise them properly. Also think RH is not the best man manager, not seeing eye to eye with decent players meaning Bertrand and Yoshida being left out is ridiculous.

Well, Vestegaard and Danso, complete liabilities. How the hell has it come to this? Our defence is a complete and utter shambles and we are toothless up front. Still, its OK cos we are playing the Skates on Tuesday. To be honest, play like this and the Skates will stuff us.

Don't doubt it costs a bit, but 60k per month, think you're having a laugh. Why would anyone pay that? Surely Matt could get mate's rates/employee discount. Seems a hell of a lot to listen to watch Scousers TV.

Possibly, Cedric was certainly somewhere round there yesterday, Twitter post.

BBC Report: "Like his team, Elyounoussi - a £17m winger on loan from Southampton - began impressively then lost his way"

Decent result again the PL2 league leaders. Good reaction after the Everton drubbing.

Very sad news. Leon was a true supporter in every sense. Its doubtful that we would have a club in its current form were it not for him. His efforts for Ted's statue were top drawer.

Transfer window deadline - At a disadvantage with European clubs
VectisSaint replied to stevy777_x's topic in The Saints
The Premier League (and Championship) brought their Transfer window date forward exactly to ensure transfers would be completed before the end of the season, this was on the expectation that the other European FAs would follow suit, at least in closing the window before the start of their season (even if it was a week or so after us). But they didn't. So yes PL/Championship is at a disadvantage. As a result Pl?Championship are looking to move it back again next season. Shame, because it was the right thing to do, but it needs to be agreed across all (European) leagues to work. -
Part time clubs still train. Probably has some sessions back at Saints to supplement, but it's hardly a problem commuting between Southampton and Woking.

Alfie Jones scored for the Gills today.

Mings wasn't released be ause he was too small, that is just myth and nonsense. He was released following our Relegation from the Championship, the whole youth budget was reduced, some say axed, at the time of the takeover. Tyrone's father, Adie was a youth coach and he was let go as well, and it wasn't done in a particularly nice way, which soured the relationship with Saints, and means there was never any chance of us getting him back, even if we had wanted. Don't know all the ins and outs so can't say whether the blame lay with Lowe or Cortese but that's what happened. Mings came through the Bath satellite academy, he is a Chippenham lad (Adie was manager and DoF of the Bluebirds, and was Scout for Chelsea after he left Saints).

What are the odds on Paddy Power? Hope he really checks them out, they do have the ability to become the next basket case club. Really do hope he can get a decent job, he deserves it for being one of the most decent blokes out there, sadly these days that doesn't count for much.
