I'm not one for knocking any player for SFC but last night when he was on the pitch we might as well of been playing with 10 men. Offered nothing going forward and nothing defending. I actually felt sorry for Fox as he ended up defending the whole of our left.

Do I think MP can take us to the next level (whatever that means)? Yes Is it apparent as of now? No Do we look better defensively? Yes Are we scoring more/the same? No In conclusion The jury is out but if we play every half of football as we did 2nd half against West Ham (with a little more luck) then the jury will come out with a thumbs up - if not.......the horses head will be deposited in MP's bed. Long way to go yet tho and IMHO we just need a couple of wins under the belt.

Thought Ayutthaya was pretty spot on - got the train there and back. Also try and get to the reclining Buddha - along with the Grand Palace both excellent for sight seeing. Will endorse Phils option of the Food Center on Soi 7 - great food and cheap. Limpini park is nice to get out of the chaos and not far from Patpong night market. Nana plaza is pretty tame so if you want to have a gander I'm sure the missus won't feel threatened - mine wasn't.

The pass for his first assist was absolute quality - Hoddle in his prime would have been more than pleased with that pass. Welbeck did well to get on the end of it from where he started but it was the pass that set it all in motion.
