Saints U21s Vs Spurs U21 at St Mary's: LIVE on YouTube
Bad Wolf replied to Bad Wolf's topic in The Saints
FT: Very enjoyable 0-0 draw, Simms looks a very good prospect, he always does when I see him play. Sinclair should have had a couple. Gazza made a few good saves too. Also our CB looks very good, Wood is it? First time I've seen him play, seems very composed. -

HT: 0-0 Saints have probably slightly had the better of it but not a lot in it. Bertrand, McCarthey and Reed look a class above everyone else but that's probably to be expected. Sinclair also looks quite intelligent. Gallagher doesn't look anywhere near fit but that's where games like this will help. -
Gazza, Reed and Bertrand playing.

Pellé getting some stick from our fans.....fair or not?

I thought his general play last night (only saw the second half) wasn't TOO bad, he looked quite decent outside the box but his finishing was appalling. -
Our final ball is ****ing shocking

What stream is everyone using?

I hope he sets the world alight, so there's more chance of someone coming in for him in the Summer.
-
Really? He's younger than Reed? Would never have guessed that. I'd drop him for West Ham, I just don't think, with their physicality, that it's gonna be his sort of game. I'd bring Tadic back in, in his place.

Post-Match Reaction: Queens Park Rangers 0-1 SAINTS
Bad Wolf replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Happy with this. Last week we played really well and got nothing, this week it's the complete opposite. Mane was quality all game, QPR's defence just couldn't handle him. Just think, if we'd beaten Swansea last week and City hadn't got that last minute goal today, we'd be second! But ifs, buts and maybes I guess. -
Best CM partnership in the league IMO. I honestly wouldn't swap either one of them for any other midfielder in the country.
-
Well if we got him back, presumably we'd have to give the money back. I'll take the money. Especially as we keep getting linked with that kid from Leeds for about 2 million as our 2nd choice right back.

Poch takes credit for Koemans work this season

Complete tosser. Both his successor and predecessor are so much more likeable and easier to warm to than him. -
My top 3: 1) Alderweireld 2) Wanyama 3) Fonte
-
Yes and all his personalities are complete tossers.

I'd rather we signed Toby on a permanent than Bertrand but that's not to say I wouldn't be happy with the latter. I just think we'll have more competition in the summer with signing Toby than we will signing Bertrand.

Saints Sign Filip Djuricic on loan from Benfica
Bad Wolf replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
He looks a bit too much like Rudi Skacel for my liking but if anyone can create a Doctor Who style regeneration, it's Koeman. -
Swansea have just done to us what we did to Manchester United.
-
I wouldn't call it great because we haven't scored. How we haven't is totally amazing.
-
Why wouldn't he be? He's a Swansea player and we're playing Swansea. Players often go to games where they're injured or suspended. Must be one of the quickest returns to a former club in history though. I don't get why we've only named 6 subs. It's not the first time this season either.

Sad to see him go, one of my favourite Saints players since I've been supporting the club. Always gave 100%, very steady on the ball, a very handy squad player to have but he wanted more than that and fair play to him. Apparently his contract at Swansea is worth less money than what we offered him so he chose playing football regularly over money, fair play again. I'm glad he got a few goals in before he left too. Shame we've outgrown him slightly now, it's always sad when a player leaves who was part of the previous "era" and his contribution to getting us up and keeping us up that first season won't be forgotten. My favourite memories of him are his first league goal for us against Newcastle as well as our appalling start in our first season back up. 4 points from the first 10 games I think and joint worst start in PL history, then he came in for his first game in a home game against Swansea ironically and we got a solid 1-1 draw and then our good run started. I don't think it's a mere coincidence that our season dramatically improved when he came into the team. Wish him all the best at Swansea and hope he gets a good reception at St Mary's next season. Goodbye and thank you, Jack!

Are his arms double jointed then?! Also, that's the wrong font
-
Shame, always been a fan of his but we can't guarantee him first team football here, not starting at least and he's out of contract in the Summer. Do we really need to buy a replacement? Reed, Morgan, Wanyama, JWP, Davis are all CM'ers and Gardos, Tadic and Toby can also play there in a crisis. Still, maybe this means there could be something in the Snieder rumours. Not exactly the same sort of player I know but I think we have some very versatile midfielders. Still I'd have waited till after the weekend to do this. a) Because he might play against us and play well. b) because we're fairly short in that area for this weekend as it is. Anyone know if there's a presser today?

Stick with Tadic and keep Mane as an impact sub.

This was announce a few weeks ago on here and lots of people were asking how they can watch it but just come across it when watching those videos of Les Reed (I assume it's the same one anyway). Includes the promotional video we saw a few months ago as well. Sorry if already posted but here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K47SP8V5seI
