At least Boufal gets a start. Strange selection having him, Redmond and Tadic starting. That midfield could get squashed today...... can't really see it working well enough to contain and hit on the break, and I doubt we'll come out on top if we go toe-to-toe. Would prefer PEH in for Redmond.

True this. His comments this week read a little like last hurrah...trying to put a positive spin around things. Wouldn't surprise me to see an Adkins-type exit in a couple of weeks with the new guy coming straight in. Or was that a Cortese-led situation?

Need to stop trying to be clever (i.e. cheap) and go for someone we really want, even if they are in a job...rather than someone available (unless it's Tuchel! - no chance though). And get him now, so he has time to take a proper look before January. Don't see the point of an interim.

Thought we looked a little better early on...... moving the ball quicker. But that didn't last much past 20 minutes before we reverted. We're not a team. We're not well-drilled and working together. We're no longer remotely entertaining. I'm usually pretty positive and supportive, but MoPe is not good enough. Simple as that. Time for him to go, sadly.
