Maybe we are after that Gerrard lad we where linked with in the summer. I think he was a centre back. If we dont get another centre back in soon then we will be in trouble. Perry can't play every game and Lancashire is too inexperienced and may not be good enough. Wotton is going out on loan and we can't rely on Svensson.

All top class players. They have such a strong squad, I'd bet any youth Fergie would be willing to play would walk into our starting XI.

Would be great if Saga stays for the next six months, I think he could work well up top with McGoldrick or Lallana in the hole. Holmes and Dyer on the flanks and we might start scoring enough goals to stay up.

They will be in so much trouble if they sell those three as well. Even with 50 million to spend, no decent or proven Premiership player will want to join a club with that little ambition. It's not like Adams has a track record for bringing in foreign talent either.

Billy Davies is the sort of manager who will get the best out of the players he has. A motivator and an organiser, it doesn't matter if it's a team full of kids of a bunch of 6ft monsters he will get them playing to there strengths. A shame he's going to Forest, can't see them being relegated now. We need to hope Lowe has a decent loan or two ready for January.

Would be happy with a score draw and a chance to go to Old Trafford. I'm not really bothered about the result though, just hope we aren't a total embarassment.

Would be happy with 1.5m plus Pearce. Would make sense anyway, Reading must not really see Pearce as part of their plans and we could really use him.

Harewood would be perfect for us. I can't see it happening though. Baird, Harewood and Cork for the rest of the season with Dyer, Wotton and Euell all leaving would be pretty much perfect.

If Saga can score in the Champions league he can score for us. He's a lot better than anything we have currently, his lack of goals may be a blessing if it stops other clubs from showing an interest. We really need him to hit the ground running to save us.

Would swap any player other than Kelvin for Cork. He's a great player, a real class act. Would be brilliant to keep him for another 6 months. It's becoming less likely with every day that passes though.

I think he's a better option on the right than Lallana. Not my favourite player but will give us some balance at least and a bit of pace in behind the defence.

I think it's the longest you can extend an emergency loan. It's either a month or rest of the season, I think.

Saints stay up while playing some decent football and scoring a few goals. Avoid administration.

Gobern and Paterson both deserve praise, they where both brilliant. Was nice to see some height and power in the team, I felt it gave us a lot of balance.

Looked like 4-4-2 to me, McGoldrick was a lot closer to Paterson than our usual in the hole player and Paterson kept hold of the ball really well. Not really sure why Paterson came off, he was playing really well.

Went through this the other day with a mate, quite a few decent away days if we do drop down. Not all bad news.

Aye, can't stand listening to us lose on the radio. Felt sorry for my family after the Burnley game. Quite looking forward to today, meeting at the pub in under an hour and no work tomorrow. Reading have brought a decent amount of fans so it could be a decent-ish atmosphere.

false economy ftw! we're screwed with this chump in charge. It doesn't matter how cheap he is or how skint we are, the manager is so important. I'd sell any player to fund a new manager, even someone like Kelvin who has been brilliant would be worth selling to bring in a decent Billy Davies type manager. I still think we're a decent club for a CCC manager. We're a big club in this league with a lot of potential and tbh even this season we still have a bigger fan base than the majority of clubs in the league.
