I actually think we'll get something from city. We'll get into them and rough them up, no one playing for city will want to play a team fighting for their life with the world cup around the corner.

The bad thing about not winning yesterday was dragging huddersfield right in it and meaning we could still stay up if we lost both remaining games, although unlikely. Like others have said, we now have to keep fighting and there will be no complacency. I also feel the city players will want to be careful in the last game so not to pick up injuries for the world cup, we can get a win against them if need be. Be nice not to have that over us though.

Watching his reactions today it looks like he cares and I think the players appreciate the passion he brings. I hope he keeps us up and has a long reign.

We're not in the relegation zone so there is still time to keep out of it for the rest of the season, so far there are still 3 teams worse than us over the course of the season, let's try and keep it that way.

I also very much doubt half the people wanting him had even heard of him before the start if this season.

Funny how news can be different. I've heard from someone at the club that it's definitely Hughes. I also had a conversation with someone a few weeks ago that told me he saw Mark Hughes in of all places, Winchester (Owen and O'Neill were no where in sight) and we were joking about how he was to become the saints Manager. I completely forgot until he reminded me again today.

Sounds promising. Spend to keep us up or for a new manager?
