Really don't see how there are about 4 different threads on this topic. At the end of the day, is it really such a big deal? The club tries to make a few extra quid from photos, but it's deemed evil because not many other clubs do it. Some people just need to take a step back, read what they've written on threads like these and think "Is it really worth getting worked up over?". The answer, for those who haven't guessed, is no. Let's leave this trivial issue behind and concentrate on the game we have coming up tomorrow, and then the next game on Saturday.

Harding was brilliant in the first half, and I didn't think he was too bad in the second either tbh. Dickson was very good in the first half, and looked okay in the second. Lallana looked bright and lively when he came on, I think if he'd started (although not feasible), we would have scored. He cuts inside and links up well with other players, and that suits players like Connolly and Barnard. We were definitely missing Lambert up top today. Onwards and upwards chaps!

Tbf, he's the kind of player we're missing. Someone with a bit of flair and pace, with a creative spark. Worth a trial at least!

It was a shocking second half performance, but booing is a bit rash...

We completely dominated them in the first half, but lost our way in the second. It's the first game of the season, we never really start well. With Rickie back in the team for MK Dons on Saturday, we can expect a win then. Plymouth were obviously going to go out 100% in the second half to try and get a win in their first game of the season, it's just a shame that we didn't match them.

Having calmed down a bit, we've got the whole season ahead of us, and we can look forward to a good game against Bournemuff on Tuesday, then thrashing the MK Dons (again) on Saturday! COYR!

Pardew needs to get 2 more players in before MK Dons next week.

F*cking sh!t second half performance, why does Pardew never use his subs!? Plymouth came into the game well after they scored, and we just faded. Even Molyneux looked good compared to us in the second half. Not sure why Harding was taken off either, he was easily our best player today. Looked completely toothless in front of goal without Lambert. Going to have to improve if we want to win the league boys...

Agree with the height issue, our style of play is really suited to having a big lump like Lambert up front to get on the end of crosses. We've looked a lot better when playing the ball into Connolly or Barnard's feet, that's when things start to happen.

We're looking great, just need a goal to secure the result. Would like to see Lallana maybe coming on for the last 10 minutes or so. Also, Sky Sports researchers are crap: "Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could come off the bench to make his debut for Saints today". Uhh, he played for the first team 2 or 3 times last season...
