  1. A Big Mac is hardly akin to the hookers, champagne and cocaine of the George Best days...
  2. £50 well spent
  3. I'll bear that in mind, cheers mate!
  4. Meant to post this a while ago. Courtesy of the members of eFestivals.co.uk, I bring you a Spotify playlist comprised of acts who are confirmed or TBC for this year's festival. Some cracking songs on there, and i'll certainly be going to see a few artists that I wouldn't have gone to see before after listening to them on this. Oh, and it updates when a new act is confirmed, so you're always getting new stuff on there. Cracking. Efestivals Glastonbury 2010
  5. Secret Asset wins at 33/1 on WillyHilly....crikey!
  6. It's going on more of your tips sunshine! Five Star Junior is 14/1 on WillyHilly, shame my money's not come through yet otherwise it'd be straight on that.
  7. There's only one thing for it: ritual sacrifice.
  8. Good girl! I'll buy her one of these if you set her on the BNP and Labour candidates too:
  9. Amazing how people think we'll magic a 7 game winning streak out of thin air. However much i'd like to see that happen as well, the chances of it actually happening are waaaay too slim to bank on. I think we'll finish with around 69/70 points and in 8th or 9th place. I'm happy with that tbh, given that we had no pre-season, didn't win for our first 10 games and had a -10 points deduction. It's all about next season now! COYR!
  10. Spent the last 71p in my WillyHilly account on this, hopefully it comes in! 11/4 ain't a great price though.
  11. Had a Conservative MP come-a-calling round my way yesterday. Unfortunately I was out, otherwise I would've told him exactly where to stick his f*cking leaflet.
  12. Your erection's showing Grandad
  13. Standards? What standards? I liked the one dressed as the Queen the best.
  14. Tbf, half of those 'birds' were alright in my books...
  15. I'm a first time voter, having turned 18 in December, and I was just wondering how many more of us there will be? I've been getting more and more interested in politics over the last 2 or 3 years, and i'm looking forward to being able to cast my vote for the first time next month.
  16. Might give that one a miss, but Gomez has always impressed me whenever i've seen him...
  17. Of course not, which is why I said 'within reason' at the start of my post. Perhaps I should've elaborated on that. I'm not saying that i'd be perfectly a-ok if the entirety of the world's suffering turned up in Hampshire, but then that will never happen as although many people out there are suffering, they don't necessarily want to leave their lives behind. It is a completely impractical idea, but it's not meant to be something that's put into practice.
  18. Of course, how silly of me to forget! Messi? Iniesta? Try Lallana and Schneiderlin! Bayern were a complete shambles in the first half though, Butt had an awful 45 minutes in goal and Man Utd should've been more than 3-1 up at HT. While they were shakey at the back, they've got one of the best attacking 6's outside of the UK imo, being able to bring on players like Gomez and Altintop from the bench is incredible. Robben is easily one of the best wingers in the world, only slightly behind the likes of Ronaldo and Messi in my estimations, and Ribery, Schweinsteiger and Olic are always dangerous in front of goal. If I was SAF last night, I would've lined up a bit like: -------Van Der Sar------ O'Shea--Vidic--Rio--Evra -----Fletcher--Carrick--- Valencia---Giggs----Nani ---------Berbatov------- Bring on Rooney for Giggs at about 60 minutes, and Rafael on for O'Shea at about the same time, with Park replacing Valencia or Nani depending on who is playing better. What United lack is some genuine pace up front, but seeing that they've signed Javier Hernandez today subject to a work permit has given me more confidence that they can go on and win the Premiership next year. Without the pace and threat of Ronaldo this season, and disregarding Rooney's form, they've looked a little bit weak up front this season. Without Rooney they'd been nowhere near 2nd imo. They seriously need to sign a world class striker to give some much needed firepower up front and to compliment Rooney, because Berbatov is way too inconsistent.
  19. I have the same view as most other posters on here, that the BNP are only really rising to prominence because of the main parties' weaknesses regarding the main issues. Labour, the Conservatives and the Lib Dems haven't tackled the things that are worrying voters as hard as people think they should have, and although the BNP are promising hard stances on these things, I doubt they'll be able to follow them through. What are they going to do, hunt every illegal immigrant in the country down and deport them themselves? They can deny it all they want, but it still remains that the BNP has racist, fascist roots. Call me cynical, but I think their 'no tolerance' policy on immigration is just Step 1 in their deluded plan to make Britain a purely white country. Some may argue that it's only illegal immigrants that would be removed, but the knock-on effects to ethnic minorities in Britain would be humungous. I'm personally of the opinion that anyone should have the right to live in this country, within reason. If someone's going to have a better quality of life in this country, then there's no reason why they shouldn't be entitled to it. If you were living in a country where you were constantly at risk and your family was in danger every single day, what would you do? Go to a country where there a jobs, peace and a better quality of life, or stay where you are because some middle class people might frown at you for giving yourself and your loved ones a better quality of life?
  20. They'd win a few football fans' votes, but probably get derided by the other two parties and their voters for focusing on something like that. They ought to be shouting a bit more about their University tuition policies imo, that's their USP for me.
  21. Yep, it's Kilmarnock. Stadium is called Rugby Park, hence the forward pass.
  22. You're right there, it's not Carlisle. Clue; FORWARD PASS REF!
  23. Linfield Stadium? Guinness Park? Potato Ground?
